I had wanted to try the milkshakes etc. here for ages and was extremely disappointed when I finally did.

It's always busy so you think it's worth the wait in line but I'm baffled at the popularity.

I ordered a milkshake, pie and lasagne and was given a total of $25 or so. Trying to explain there's no way it cost so much fell on deaf ears. After much frustration, it was resolved. Then I had to wait around 20 minutes for my food to arrive, after asking several times what the deal was. Sitting there waiting I had plenty of time to notice a torn chair and other poorly maintained features.

I finally said I had to go and requested a refund. They said the food w a s ready so I took it. I can make a better milkshake at home, the pie was average and the lasagne was almost inedible. Extremely overcooked with a rock hard top.

Theymay do ice cream well, but don't expect any decent hot food. I assume it's just...

Great flavours and variety. Plenty of options for different tastebuds. Was excited to see new flavours available during my last visit. Raspberries and Cream was a particular favourite, which I had as a thickshake. Delicious. Watermelon Sorbet was a pleasant surprise to see, but it was a very short celebration. Unfortunately, the Watermelon taste is very weak and followed by a strange after taste, which I compared to the taste of steamed vegetables. My girlfriend suggested it tastes like the ice that forms in the freezers, but in a bad way. Both myself and my girlfriend were unable to finish it due to the horrible taste. Would love if this flavour was improved dramatically, felt horrible wasting $5 on something that should’ve become a...

We really wanted to love this place but I think unfortunately we got the wrong day. The young lady who served us was clearly in training and should've been supported and not left alone to serve us and make our things. The thickshakes were literally undrinkable, it was just icecream in a cup. Couldn't get it in the straw to take a sip! The milkshake was just frothed milk, you could barely taste the strawberry. When I spoke to another young lady about the drinks she literally didnt care, I said we cant drink the drinks we just paid for and she couldn't have cared less and the attitude was surprising, very very disappointed as it's a great little llace but poorly managed. Oh and really expensive which I wouldn't mind if the experience...

I had my first Annie's icecream in the 90s when as a Stannies boarder Annie's was high on the list of requests when your parents came to visit. My dad always had the Annie's 'Rum and Raisin'. He passed away 15 years ago and weirdly it still gives me a 'warm and Fuzzy' to think of dad everytime I visit Bathurst and get a 'Rum and Raisin' icecream from Annie's. Still going strong all these years later Annie's can often times be seen to have a queue out the door and is hugely popular with locals and 'in the know' tourists passing through that make a detour. Highly recommended. AAA+++

This gorgeous little ice cream parlour will transport you straight back to the 1950s! A very vintage feel with bright pink and white with little booths to sit in. They have a lot of choice for ice cream desserts. I ordered a scoop of mango and it was smooth, however, it tasted quite a bit like coconut(?) or something similar which I thought was a bit strange. But I think the other traditional flavours such as chocolate and honeycomb are safe and delicious! Great for a hot day or a catch up with friends!

This is an excellent place to go during the hot Aussie summer. Fashioned like an old 50s diner, the place is spacious and clean, and the staff are really friendly. There is a generous variety of flavors, and the menu isn’t limited to ice cream - if I had known that they had hotdogs here I would have gone here for lunch. If you’re in and around Bathurst and have kids in tow, this is definitely a place to visit. Heck, if you don’t have kids, go here anyway!
