Kurv Newstead — Attraction in Brisbane City

No longer at Kurv in Newstead… but Jacob made our short stay a fantastic window in our rental journey!

Our time at Kurv in Newstead finished in April 2017. Whilst it was mainly a happy occasion to be moving, we were sad to leave the best Property Rental (and Building) Manager that we have had the fortune to deal with here in Queensland...in fact in Australia!!!

From the moment we enquired about the property to post our leaving the building, Jacob Brown has been an amazing, professional, friendly and efficient Property Manager. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him and everything is done with a smile on his face and the most polite manner. The customer experience that Darren and I have had from Jacob has been impeccable every step of the way and at every touch point!

I don't give praise easily when it comes to customer service provision. I have high standards but Jacob by far exceeded my expectations throughout the whole time at Kurv. If there were apartments in the building that could take our shipped furniture we would definitely have been happy to stay, and if it were possible to award more than five stars I would!

There is no better location in Brisbane than Kurv, Newstead ! You are walking distance to absolutely everything you need. Grab a coffee, a meal, a beer at one of several breweries, take a stroll along the river, take the city cat to the city, the list goes on and on.

Being a smaller building , you really get a great community feel living at Kurv. All the residents are friendly, respectful, and the building is kept in perfect condition. If there is a better property manager than Jacob Brown, then, well there isn’t. Period.

Nothing is too hard for Jacob. We were made to feel at home before we had even moved in. In several instances, we had to ask Jacob for help and understanding, and he not only delivered, but did so professionally, promptly, and well above expectation. He always has time to stop and say hello - you’re not treated as tenants but as his guests.

We have owned and tenanted an apartment at Kurv Newstead since initial build. It has been property managed by Kurv Newstead Property Management the entire time. Our current Property Manager, Jacob Brown has managed our apartment for the last 5+ years. Jacob's passion for the Kurv apartments, the owners and the tenants is clearly evident in the fantastic service and communication he displays. As we live in Victoria it is so reassuring for us to know that we have Jacob looking after our apartment as if it were his own. He will call with updates and to have a friendly chat just to keep in touch - not just when there is an issue. His is extremely diligent and professional! The last time we spoke was Father's Day and Jacob was at the building sorting out a dishwasher problem with our tenant while his children were waiting for him. That is outstanding service.
