I am amazed by this venue. We watched the circus Duck Pond and only got tickets in the 4th row from the back. We were a bit worried about the view, but it was so much better than expected! The preview of the view on the booking website is very accurate. Even in the last rows you have a great view of the stage without turning your head. The seats are very comfortable as well. Would visit more often, if I was living in Brisbane!

Going to QPAC for 14 years and didn't know this theatre existed, whoops. Ultra comfy chairs and great view from the balcony with no one blocking your view. Sound was fantastic and for a play I liked that effects like projecting on to props was happening. Get in early to go to the wine bar downstairs. If it's raining you can walk through the middle of QPAC to the Lyric and Concert Halls.

Went here for a ballet performance today, gorgeous set and convenient location (just look for the ABC building and it’s very close to there). We sat in A30 and A31, the first row of the balcony and think these are fantastic seats - would recommend balcony seats for sure, you can see everything.

Yesterday 20/4/23 my friend and I went to see Giselle at the Playhouse QPAC. After reading Li Cunxins book "Maos last Dancer". My interest in Ballet became so intense. I never really understood how much Ballet dancers go through with their training etc. to become wonderful dancers. I suppose I never really thought about it before. I really loved Li Cunxins book soooooooo!! much that when I saw Giselle advertised I really wanted to see it. After yesterday, I now appreciate Ballet so much more and will be going along to many more events. I heard he was in the audience yesterday. I really wanted to meet him and give him a hug!! But I could not see him. Thank you so much for introducing me to this wonderful world of...

Fantastic Theatre.. one of those very rare “no bad seats” spaces, similar to the old Suncorp Theatre in it’s day, but with a much better seating layout and better facilities. The restaurants are well priced and the food is great. Staff, as always at QPAC, are helpful, friendly and are used to questions from first time visitors. With that in mind, it is important that you check online BEFORE going, that you’re entering from the right end of the building.. it’s a VERY large complex and you don’t want to be rushed trying to get from one end of it to the other, just to make the start of your show or worse, to just miss it! It’s a great Theatre:. Couldn’t recommend it...

The Playhouse is a lovely comfortable theatre, and Coppelia ballet superb, but if u visit QPAC don't waste your time and importantly money in eating at The Cafe or Bistro;. apart from 2 staff members who were pleasant, the majority of staff in a hospitality industry, were inhospitable, rude and treat you as if they're doing you a favour, when in fact it's visitors to QPAC who keep these people in jobs. I know it's a challenging time, but it's challenging for everyone in different ways, and when you have a day out it's important to feel welcome, let's all put a smile on our faces and be kind to each other, it makes a...
