Victoria Park / Barrambin Off-Leash Dog Park — Attraction in Brisbane City

Dropped in (I just happened to be passing by and wanted to try a new dog park) and pleasantly surprised to find a lovely mix of all sizes of dogs with many of them seeming to be regulars. The large dog area is quite generously sized and this might be the biggest one I've seen. There is more agility equipment here than any other dog park I've been to (e.g. Everton Agility Dog Park) and the hill has been shaped into soft terraces, so you're not always standing on a slope. I was told that although it is on a hillside, in wet weather there is a flow path which makes the entry area very muddy, taking up to a week to dry out. The park has two areas, the bigger one for larger well established fur babies and the smaller (but spacious) area is perfect for the little fur bubbas. Providing plenty of space to run and play. Or unlike our first timer.. be in envy of the larger dogs. Getting used the different smells of his fur friends in the puppy pen. There’s seating for the fur parents in both areas. Plenty of shade, fresh water, toys provided and poop bags as well. There’s plenty of waste bins so you’re not searching around for one. Victoria Dog Park is hands down the best dog park in Brisbane! It has everything—plenty of space for dogs to run and play, top-notch facilities with decent sized side Park with fencing, and a safe, well-maintained environment. The park is always full of joyful pups ready for a fun time, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It’s huge, clean, and designed with both dogs and owners in mind. Best of all, no bugs to worry about!
