I purchased a funeral plan for myself and terminally ill husband some time ago so I knew I would experience both the buying and using side. When I discussed our plans I was listened to with empathy and understanding. At no time during my first conversation did I feel at all pressured to purchase a plan. All my questions were answered and I felt confident and reassured knowing that when I needed to make arrangements after my husband passed away everything would be taken care of. I made the phone call and as I was told when I first rang them, BARE would handle everything. I was contacted by one person with the choice of calls or emails and was provided with support and was kept fully informed of the process and the timeframe involved. They checked in with me to see how I was but at the same time I never felt their calls were intrusive. It’s a very hard time to negotiate because we all handle grief in our own way which BARE fully understands. I am able to give a review now that some time has passed and I feel I owe it to BARE to praise everything they did. Although my husband’s death was expected I still would have been lost without their checklists and guidance of what needed to be done and when. I feel at peace knowing that when I pass away my children will only need to make one call and the wonderful staff at BARE will handle everything. Compassionate Support During a Challenging Time

From my first online engagement to our final interaction with BARE, my mom and I were treated with empathy and respect during a particularly challenging period when my brother died unexpectedly. The BARE team were in daily contact with us, explaining the process, keeping us informed of progress and answering all the questions we had promptly with kindness and patience. When my father suddenly passed away a couple of weeks back, it was decided to contact Bare, he didn't want a fuss to be made.

I contacted them on the day of his passing, and they collected his body from the Aged Care home that evening.

They assigned me a single person to work with me on the arrangements. All the details they required were done easily online and they contacted the doctor for the medical Death Certificate.

Once the cremation was done, it took about 2 weeks, they delivered his ashes to my mother at the Aged Care home.
