I have visited this store multiple times. It is close to my work and I often go there to buy clothes and cosmetics. It is a busy store usually and open till 6pm. I particularly want to mention the staff at this store on Women's clothing section in the changing room- right to the escalator. There is a middle aged women who is extremely rude. I often visit after work and she basically scolds you if you don't bring the hangers as it is closing time. She just wants to basically go home. How can you walk with clothes and hangers as there are no baskets around? I visited this store on Tuesday and selected 3 dresses. Before entering the trial room, she again told me to bring the hangers and it is almost closing time. I could not see the dresses online as I wanted my size. I told her if she could help and she said, you can go and shut the trial room door and take your valuable possessions. I tried and selected 3 dresses. At the billing, the same lady was managing the counter. I requested to tell me the price of items as there were discounts. There was one dress of this designer label, and she said this is full price. I told her that this is on discount as I tried another size and it has a sticker of new price. She was least interested to hear me and dismissed me twice. After getting the billing done for 2 dresses, I went to the designer section as they were not available online. There were almost, 7 dresses of different sizes all had stickers of the new price except the one I selected. I picked up 2 dresses and went to her again near the trial room counter. I showed her the discount tags and my dress was right behind her. She told me in a frustrated voice, that you need to ask the staff there as we don't have this label's stock in Myers. I informed her that I stood there for 5 mins but there is noone. I requested if she could call the staff, but she was least interested to serve me. Luckily the staff of that label passed by and she called her. I showed her the dresses with discount and she sorted it and I processed my new invoice purchasing the 3rd dress. I just felt the discount was incorrectly applied as there was a 30% further discount to the dress. So I went to the actual section, took pictures and went to another staff to assist near the women's shoe. They called the same staff of this label, and I showed her the photos and invoice. She called her manager and then asked the Myers staff to assist processing my refunded amount. This experience actually was horrible overall and trust on Myer's billing system is...

My first visit to the Women’s Shoe department was atrocious.

The day I went, I was looking for boots. I waited at the cashier with the boots I wanted to try as it was not clear where I should go for service.

After 15 mins of waiting, it was not busy, the cashier advised where I needed to go to for shoe service. I went there and waited another 15 mins.

Finally, a lady approx in her 50s came, and when I showed her the shoes I wanted to try, she said “these are shoes HQ”. I had no idea what she was talking about and pointed at the stand I picked them up from.

She huffed and grumbled and repeated again that they were Shoes HQ and walked me to another area.

It was then I saw a sign that said Shoes HQ. It’s a concession or something for Myer.

But firstly - as a customer, how should I know this? I don’t work there. Lastly, as a customer - who had already had to wait 25+mins at this point, I don’t care if the shoes were from Mars. I wanted to try and buy!

Eventually I purchased a pair in a colour I didn’t love. I wanted it in black but the grumpy lady said they didn’t have any in stock. I asked if Chatswood Myer had any and that’s when she checked the computer (no initiative or proactiveness) and she said they had 4.

Her name begins with G and ends in O. On my receipt it says she served me on 13/8/25 at 4:24pm.

A week later I came back to return the boots because I bought the colour i wanted from Chatswood. Wow. The service I received from a different shoe lady - for a refund, no sale - was polar opposite. I actually explained to her what happened and she was very apologetic and listened with empathy. She agreed no one knows what shoe HQ is unless they worked there or it had been explained, and said the lady should have offered to have the other colour sent to the store for me! (Of course, if I had asked “G” lady she would have done it but I didn’t know I could and she showed zero initiative so hence why I went to Chatswood).

Her name was Carmen per my receipt and she processed my refund on 18/8/25 at 11:20am.

G - 1/5 stars Carmen - 10/5 stars! I would’ve bought the store out if she had served...

I was very disappointed by the way my Mum and I were treated whilst trying on a dress in the fitting rooms. We were searching the store for a free fitting room. Everywhere was full and had line ups so we finally came across one that already had someone in there, so we just waited as we would be next in line. Once we finally got in there within no time at all, a lady named Bee called out to us to check we were ok from behind the curtain. We thanked her and told her we were ok. I then opened the curtain to let some light in so I could see what I was trying on in a better light. She then came over and asked if we needed help with any Sass and Bide items. I said “no thank you” and then realised this was her way of saying “you should only be trying on these items here” but she Ofcourse didn’t say that. Nor did we see any signage to indicate that before hand and the young girl before us was not trying on items from this department. The whole fitting room was full of a mixture of clothing from the whole store. Anyway, I realised she wanted us out so I quickly got undressed and started to put my clothes back on and she came again to the curtain and told us she had a line up of people waiting to use the fitting room (there was ONE sour faced women waiting, certainly no line up) and she stood there in the door way of the fitting room whilst I tried to quickly get my clothes back on and explain to her that we hadn’t been in there very long and we didn’t realise this was only for Sass and Bide customers (or whatever it’s called). Anyway, the point to all of this is that I was made to feel very embarrassed whilst half naked behind the curtain. I had no idea that this fitting room was not for all shoppers of Myers and I didn’t need to be made to feel so patronised and as if I was an imposter or a criminal. I went on to spend hundred of dollars in store and was served by a lovely lady at the check out who couldn’t have been...

My recent interaction with Myer Concierge left me utterly frustrated and deeply disappointed. I was attempting to purchase an item that, according to the Myer website, showed conflicting stock information: "Out of stock online" but "Limited stock" at the Sydney City store. After numerous failed attempts to contact the store directly by phone, I turned to the Myer Concierge chat service, hoping for some genuine assistance.Unfortunately, what followed was a baffling display of unhelpfulness. I clearly explained the situation, including my previous positive experience where a Myer manager personally went to the back of the store and found stock for a similar issue. I specifically requested a similar physical check, believing there might be stock despite the online status. However, the agent (Iman/Ahmed) repeatedly dismissed my request. They simply reiterated that the item was "out of stock" based on online data, even when I pressed them on the need for a physical verification. This felt like a deliberate avoidance of my actual query and, frankly, deceptive. The situation worsened when I tried to escalate. My requests to speak with a manager or to receive a transcript of our conversation were flat-out denied, with the agent stating it "cannot be done due to the nature of this issue." This refusal to provide standard customer service options for a legitimate complaint is completely unacceptable. The agent's tone became increasingly dismissive and unhelpful, making me feel unheard and undervalued.Ultimately, the chat was abruptly ended by the agent, leaving me with no resolution and a profound sense of wasted time and effort. This is not the level of customer service I expect from Myer. There was a clear lack of effort, empathy, and a genuine desire to assist. If you're looking for real help, save yourself the frustration; this lousy service desperately needs a complete overhaul.

Extremely disappointing customer service. I still haven’t received the items I purchased and I’ve made four attempts to resolve this with Myer without success. We purchased $640.10 worth of plates, bowls and cutlery from the Sydney City Myer store on 11 June. Two days later we received a parcel containing about half of the purchased items. Three of the bowls and plates were already broken. We tried contacting Myer twice on the phone and online. One person advised someone would call me back - they never did. And one person told me to bring the broken bowls & plates instore (despite the clear safety hazard?!?) to exchange and enquire about the undelivered items. We brought these items instore a few days later. The customer service person exchanged them for new items for us, but refused to check on the undelivered items, insisting that we wait for another week. We waited another week and nothing arrived, no tracking number received either. I emailed the customer service person from Sydney City store to enquire about the missing items. It’s been three business days and I have not heard back. No where on Myer’s website could I find an email address to send my query / concern to. I have no option but to post this on Google review before reporting this to the ACCC and NSW Fair Trading. If I knew I would have to go instore to resolve a very simple matter such as this, I would’ve bought from a local business. Presenting yourself as having an online presence and not being able to resolve anything online is just misleading. I’d rather buy from a small business that has real people with common sense to respond to my concern.
