We ordered veal mignons for 17 euros with potatoes or 32 km, and they brought us fillet on BREAD! But that's not all! There were practically no potatoes in the side dish (practically - it was three pieces), but there were pieces of fresh pepper, barely touched by the grill and... grated fresh carrots (for comparison, 20 km away in the same Sarajevo you can eat a huge, juicy steak stuffed with gorgonzola and smoked beef, with vegetables and potatoes in another place, a simply gigantic portion). And this whole "monster" was under a mayonnaise-something sauce, although it should have been under a cheese one. When we complained about why the hell they brought us "bread" and "fresh vegetables" for 32 km, the waitress tried to convince us that we hadn't seen the bread under the meat in the picture. Actually, you can compare it with the attached photos. Then, when they showed her a photo of what was on my plate and what was on the menu, she wasn't blind after all and was forced to agree that they were deceiving people, and admitted that their menu was just 10 years old. So yes, you understand everything, but you're fooling tourists with a smile. I left hungry!! Because I don't eat bread and I don't want to. By the way, they also charge a fee for the bread basket that they bring without asking. And yes, they didn't reduce the price for this dish, and the bill included another 11% for service. Keep this in mind and draw your own conclusions.
Answer to the owner: And you're lying again! Those weren't croutons - those were raw bread. Just. Pieces. Of. Bread! If you don't know what croutons are, I'm so sorry. The pepper was also RAW, even though it was fried for appearance, although it shouldn't have been there at all. Yes, you're right, we should have made a scene and immediately returned the dish - too bad, we're not scandalous or conflict-prone people. I strongly recommend that you do not treat tourists like cattle and spend your time not on dubious correspondence on the Internet, but on replacing the "10-year-old menu" and quality control of work in...
Read moreI recently dined at Restoran Careva Cuprija and had an absolutely fantastic experience! Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations in every way.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the manager. From the moment we arrived, Amira(if i’m not wrong) made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. They checked on us frequently, ensuring everything was perfect and even made personalized recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Their attentiveness and genuine care for the guests transformed our dining experience into something truly special. I highly recommend this place not only for its great food but also for the outstanding hospitality.
