Received a wonderful batch of food poisoning from the fish they Sold me .

Fish smelled off and the place smelled like an old sock. Should have been my first clue to run. Place was empty.

Reached out to the manager, she wore at me and hung up.

Trying to support local businesses.

Thank you for you amazing and unwelcoming response. I only review when the service is bad or in your case , food poisoning. And I don't write that many bad reviews. But due to food poisoning. You're the lucky one. Or unlucky one. And funny you think for poisoning is a hard to please customer. . Good people get rewarded. Funny how that works.

You or whomever swore and then hung up. (It was a lady) Perhaps new workers are needed ? This review was much needed. The place empty. Should have been my first clue. Smelly and not very clean. I will be calling the health board TOMORROW ASAP, and Kelowna folks need to know what your serving. Word of mouth is everything. Thank you . And I will be supporting COD FATHER'S.

Hands down best seafood that my wife and I have had the pleasure to cook with . We are new to the area as of one year ago and we have always been huge fans of fish and seafood so we had to research the area to find out where to get good eats from and boy have we found it. The selection has never dissapointed me, we have tried a variety of salmons, shrimp, sable fish, smoked sturgeon, steelhead, oysters, cod and halibut so far. The owner/management and staff have a lot of community pride which we really like and that same pride shows in their expert handling of all their seafood offering the best quality product from the water to your plate. It is always a pleasure walking in the store and chatting with the knowledgable, friendly staff.

We recently got some fresh halibut and decided to grill them up for a Thanskgiving family meal and let me tell you that it was the begining to a new family tradition.

I wanted fresh sockeye salmon for our early September wedding and with the early return of the salmon I was worried there wouldn't be any by then. But Cory delivered! Not only did he find 20lbs of sockeye, he filleted it, deboned and removed the pins AND cut it into 6 oz and some into 3 oz pieces, AND then gave me easy to follow recipes and cooking instructions. The salmon turned out perfectly, just the way he said it would. While there was a fair amount of turkey left, 40 of us devoured the salmon leaving only one small fillet which was quickly frozen when we arrived home!

Cory, you are awesome. You are now my fish monger of choice. Thank you for making it so easy for us to have sockeye salmon at our wedding....
