I did the Cavalier Maxim dinner cruise for our work holiday party in December. We had a great time. There was music and a dance floor which contributed to a fun evening; however it was so loud that it was very difficult to have a conversation at the table (lost my voice a little by the end of the evening from having to speak above the music). I cannot say enough good things about the food - it was phenomenal: presentation was beautiful and the food itself was absolutely, melt-in-your mouth, delicious. Hats off to the chef! Although I enjoyed the evening, it felt like I was at a basement party (low ceiling – I could touch it) and the windows were fogged the entire time (due to temperature differences inside/outside I presume) so there was no view at all from indoors (see my picture of a window - lol). However, the view on deck was spectacular but of course, it’s too cold in December to stay out too long, so back to ‘the basement’ I went lol). The staff was pleasant and helpful. The space accommodates a large number of people. We were 40 and shared the space with other parties - I estimate maybe 300 people in total fit (but best to check with AML on this point). Overall, it was a very nice experience.

It was our first time on this cruise. It was the red carpet 5 course dinner- cruise. The service was excellent. They took care of everyone's special request. The food was very good. We did not not expect this level being on a boat. We loved every course. The only caveat is the dance floor on the front deck after supper is very cramped. But it was still fun. We had a very nice view of Montreal from the deck at night.

I had my second AML experience yesterday August 24, the one in Montreal. The first one was summer 2024. Second one yesterday. When I arrived the boarding agent direct me to the first floor on the boat, which I didn’t like, then they gave me a seat that I I didn’t like either.

I went back to that agent and told him this is not my favorite floor as I paid for signature for 2, I’d like to be moved to the one downstairs. First he made it seems like I was not even talking to him, when I talked louder and firm he refers me to the lady who already gave us the seat. The lady then told me the floor downstairs is full meanwhile I saw people who were still going downstairs. So I had to keep the seat and floor I didn’t like. Second, they did segregation seats in the first floor for some unknown reason, all the black people like me and my husband was regrouped to the right, and all the white people were regrouped to the left which was shocking to me. Everything that was served was served first to the left side AKA the white people. It was a terrible experience and I wasted my money getting the highest ticket $$$$$ to have the best experience but it turned out to be the worst one while I am 5 months pregnant.

I am never doing that again, and I’ll never refer my family and friends to this. I’ll make sure I comment this on every social page for this...

Please read this carefully , We did not yet have the pleasure of enjoying a boat ride yet but I'd like to share our experience and give appreciation on how the situation was handled. We booked a weekend brunch ride on their montreal old port boat / we mentioned the customer was disabled and in a wheelchair ♿️ They explained it would not be an issue and the process was easy to book the trip. Thankfully one week later a employee reaches out to advise us that there may be some restrictions and complications due to the low water levels 😳 at the port. They graciously said they would assist my partner in anyway he needed. After a few days we called back to speak to a representative about our predicament and how we now hesitate if this is safe . The sales representative was so kind and very apologetic and we requested a refund. Due to the unforseen consequences, but she handled it so well and we really appreciate her understanding and polite approach. Fingers crossed we really look forward to next year!!! Thank you for your great customer service and we look forward to...
