This is one of the last three 70mm IMAX locations in “la belle province” (the other two are Scotiabank Cinema in Montreal and IMAX des Galeries de la Capitale in Quebec city but who knows when they will dismantle them). Most of the time, you can only watch scientific documentaries here (personally the price tends to be a little on the higher end - $14 for a 50-minute stuff, hmmm…). I really like this Centre des sciences, the staff is really kind, the popcorn and all the snacks are nice and not so expensive but there's one thing that bother me; the movie that I went to watch the second time was super chiens, which I didn't know it was narrated by Chris Evans, so I was looking forward to listen to his voice but you only have french dubbed. I enjoy 'real' IMAX films and I'm happy that this place still uses the film projection (as opposed to digital projection). I was surprised however, to see that there was a vertical line extending the entire height of the screen in two really obvious areas.
