My husband and I used to dread coming to the Canada One outlet during the weekends because it'd be impossible to find parking and some stores actually had lineups to get in.
Those days are gone. As other reviewers have mentioned, the place is deathly quiet now.
We went there on Saturday afternoon of the Family Day long weekend and had no problem finding parking because there were only a few dozen cars in the lot. Needless to say, there were no lineups at any of the stores.
We walked around the complex and felt as if we were in an end-of-world movie because it was hnot easy to find other shoppers. This had hubby and I wondering if those cars that we saw in the parking lot belonged to the people who worked at the stores, which meant the place was deader than we thought.
As mentioned by other reviewers, Canada One doesn't have the deep discounts that you get in the U.S. outlets nor does it have big names like Kate Spade or Armani, and the fact that Saks Off Fifth is bypassing this place to go to other outlet malls down the highway and closer to Toronto is not a good sign. With the Outlet Collection less than ten minutes away by car, I think Canada One needs to reinvent itself and turn into a different type of mall because it simply can't compete against the newer, bigger outlet.
Hubby and I went to the NOTL Outlet Collection after our Canada One visit, and it definitely drew more shoppers despite freezing cold weather. (For the record, it actually felt colder in NOTL than on Lundy's Lane.) So it wasn't the ice-cold temps that was keeping people away from Canada One.
If things continue this way for the Niagara outlet, I wouldn't be surprised to see more store closures. I just hope for the sake of the people working there that something is done to attract new stores and...
Read moreI was on one of those casino bus trips. We stopped here for shopping. There were some young bucks on the bus, they were determined to get as drunk as possible as quick as possible. It was fun to watch at a distance but for those sitting close it was about to get real. Real gross. One of them had one shot too many. Let me put this into context. It was 11am, we left from Toronto maybe an hour and half prior. It was a beautiful Saturday morning. I was revved up and excited to do some gambling. I was enjoying my morning and my morning coffee. Back to young bucks. The one was starting to waiver. Getting quiet. Fighting the fear. Getting pale. Bus pulls into the parking lot. "I need a bag" he mumbles incoherently. One of the other bucks tosses him a McDonald's bag full of drive through. Oh boy. Like a scene out of the Exorcist. That bag filled up quick. At least 3 innocents were traumatized. My buddies jacket was not spared. It was a complete disaster. The other young bucks thought it was hilarious. The other 30 adults on the bus proceeded to exchange all of their war stories, from when they were that young and made those kinds of decisions. We got off the bus. My buddy had to clean his jacket in the washroom. I got a new hoodie from addidas. We walked around and found the IHOP. It was quite...

Also bought few pieces at Urban Kids , you'll find really good kids clothing here at a great price . Again the Associate was so very helpful ( sorry I forgot your name )
American Eagle is by far the best place to shop for amazing deals 👌 their merchandise is not current fashion hence , sweaters, polo shirts , t-shirts, is under $12.99 plus great jeans, joggers etc. You have to visit here ! I bought a pair of men's jeans and a long sleeved shirt Total cost was $26.90 plus TX. Regular price would have been $120.00 🙌
