Top notch! My father and I who are travelling from Australia drove in from Niagara Falls, N.Y. to visit the Canadian side. While departing the city we decided to stop at the Pho Bowl Vietnamese Cuisine to grab a familiar meal.
We were greeted by a lovely host who quickly grabbed us menus and confirmed with us for a take away meal. We grabbed four Shrimp Cold Rolls and two Medium Rare Beef Pho Soups.
As it was a cold night we opted to stay in the restaurant while the meals were prepared. The host provided to us a complimentary hot tea to keep warm as we awaited. Once the food was ready, the host kindly provided some extra condiments to take back with us.
The Cold Role was great with the right amount of fillings. The peanut sauce provided tasted awesome and was eaten separately as there was plenty left.
The Pho Soup tasted as expected and served as the perfect meal for the cooler weather. The beef cooked perfectly in the soup, remaining tender and fresh. The noodles were soft and tasteful, helped by the broth and extra chilly and the hoisin sauce as always a perfect condiment.
While our stay was short, it finished happily with a lovely meal from Pho Bowl. Upon our eventual return to North America, we will not hesitate to visit and grab a meal...
Read moreI DO NOT recommend overpriced no flavours
The food lacked authenticity in flavours, it was very watered down. The broth needed more aromatics to give off aroma and more flavour. The spring rolls were made using the egg wrappers instead of the rice paper and had no seasoning and bland flavour on both the vegetarian and pork one. The sauce they gave with the spring rolls was a bottled chilly Thai sauce, I never have seen this in viet restaurant before or in Vietnam before very westernized and the Nuoc Cham (fish sauce) that was served with my beef and rice tasted like I was using water with a hint of sugar, it lacked the sweetness combined with the tangy and salty flavour of the vinegar and fish sauce. The free strawberry shake my kids didn’t even drink it. As for price : they were very overpriced compare to other places I been to. And for lacking any flavour I would not even pay for a quarter of the price of it. I do not know why people are raving about this place.
Had their Cha gio (pork fried spring rolls) and the vegetarian one too and their pho tai (rare beef noodle soup) and the Com suon nuong (pork /beef with rice) got the strawberry shake for free cuz I spent more than $25 my...
Read morePho Bowl Vietnamese Restaurant is one of my go-to spots for warm, flavorful, and satisfying meals. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious and made with care.
The wonton soup was light, clear, and full of flavor. The dumplings were soft and perfectly seasoned, floating in a comforting broth that felt like a warm hug.
The fried rice was cooked to perfection — fluffy, flavorful, and packed with just the right mix of vegetables and protein. It had that perfect savory taste that makes you want to eat every bite.
The pho soup was rich, aromatic, and served piping hot. The broth was full of depth, the noodles were tender, and the meat was fresh and well-prepared. It’s the kind of dish that instantly makes you feel cozy and cared for.
Finally, the Pad Thai was amazing — a generous portion of stir-fried rice noodles with crisp vegetables, topped with crushed peanuts. It was savory, slightly sweet, and full of delicious texture and flavor.
Overall, every dish was beautifully made, and the service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Pho Bowl for anyone craving comforting, flavorful Vietnamese food. I’ll definitely be...
