Patio Burger & Ice Cream Co. — Restaurant in Penticton

We use to love coming here but this time it was awful. The food quality is extremely low, processed cheese, canned mushrooms, one wilted piece of stringy lettuce (the only topping), and garlic aioli made with powdered garlic. The fries tasted like they were cooked earlier and warmed up or sat under a heat lamp. We actually came away feeling awful.

The girl who took our order was pleasant and was pretty much on her own. We ordered 2 drinks and they were ready after our burgers because the other employees were outside (I could hear the conversation as I stood there waiting). I ordered a lime margarita which was neon green and not very good at all.

All in all, the location, view and holiday atmosphere are amazing but we won't eat here again until the food quality...

Staff are anything but helpful. Burgers are absolutely nothing special. I've had far better burgers from the freezer section of the local grocery store. The fresh fries they brag about were nowhere to be found. Instead I received a box of little bits of fries. What a pain! Worse of all, I ordered two beers. They poured me one, handed it to me and then....??? I stood waiting at the order window for another 7 or 8 minutes for the second drink. Total mickey-mouse operation, charging way too much for mediocre food, but they'll still present the machine starting at 18% tip despite doing nothing. I didn't leave a tip, but I did leave our trays atop the sticky tables for the staff to fetch (and hopefully wipe the tables...

To be fair this review is partially biased as I have not dined in, I have only ever ordered delivery through Skip the Dishes.

Firstly, when ordering, half of the times I have ordered from them they have failed to confirm my order at all causing Skip to cancel after 10 minutes. If you can not fulfill take out or delivery then why do you even offer the service at all?

Secondly, their burgers, when they have actually managed to successfully complete an order, have tasted very strongly of charcoal. Extremely overcooked. And twice now, their fries have been like broken up fry bits that are the size of hashbrowns.

Definitely not worth your...
