Whiskey Landing — Attraction in Ucluelet

DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE MADE! We rented a condo for a sweet 16 birthday celebration. The unit was filthy. The manager was rude and didn't care. The jetted tub was filthy and the bath water was brown with black sediment. The pictures made #210 and #211 look nice, new, and clean. It was anything but. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Maybe there are nicer units through other companies but these two units are managed by the same company and advertised on Expedia. The manager 'Brock' was rude, not sympathetic at all and basically treated me as though I had dirtied the place myself when we cleaned and sanitized everything ourselves! He offered us a discount for the next stay, which we will obviously never do. We could have stayed in a gorgeous place right on the beach for LESS. Unless you're a fan of filth, construction noise, no beach access and no support when you have a concern...DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! There are so many rentals that are steps from the beach...choose...

Despite being specific as to which room was wanted when making the reservation we were put in the room below. Our first night was spent with no hot water and a fishing boat parked at the dock all night, bright lights shining right into our room, and generator running. Not much sleep to be had. If you are not in a top floor suite, be prepared to hear EVERYTHING from above. If you are on either side of the building your view is a parking lot or the aquarium building. The building is apparently also stifling hot in the summer with a metal room, windows surrounding your room that don't open, and no a/c. The only worthwhile room is 301, but at a cooler time of year. Stayed here in a suite with my family, 2br plus kitchen, which made staying in town for a week very pleasant and easy.
