(late post) I stayed here at the beginning of April.

The motel might not look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Austin and his team have done an amazing job with the interior—it’s really modernized, comfortable, and totally chill! Bedding was comfortable and clean soft towels!! I was very impressed with the bathroom amenities, I felt like I was at a spa in the city! (And yes, the owner’s photos are the real deal!)

The motel is conveniently located right in the heart of town. If you drove here, you’ll find it easy to access a bunch of local trails and beaches. There are tons of amenities nearby—Co-Op grocery and hardware store, liquor store, marinas, restaurants, and local shops—all within walking distance. You definitely won’t run out of things to do, even if the weather isn’t great! (BC Transit West Coast line stops within steps by the motel)

I’m so happy I picked this spot to celebrate my birthday. Huge thanks to Austin and the team! Can't wait for the fully renovated motel turned inn, and my next...

We recently stayed at Ukee Peninsula Motel, and couldn't be more pleased with our experience! The motel has been beautifully renovated, with modern and stylish decor that makes for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay like microwave and fridge. We had a room with a kitchenette and it was nice to have a place for cooking and eating.

One of the highlights of our visit was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff.

Overall, I highly recommend this motel for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. The combination of the newly renovated facilities and the exceptional service makes it a standout choice. A big plus that it was close to the store and the places we wanted to visit. We’ll definitely be returning on...

I would of loved to be able to give this motel a a proper review, however unfortunately after being turned down upon arrive after driving all the way from Victoria with my partners certified service dog, AND confirming with the booking website that pets allowed was stated, the owner confirmed it was a miscommunication and that no pets were allowed. I understand hotels have these rules in place for all kinds of reasons, however this is a very specific detail that should not be able to be over looked through other booking companies.

At 9:00 pm at night we were left to find a new pet friendly room, and work up in the morning to a nice fat cancellation fee from the website.

Safe to say I will never recommend Ukee Peninsula Motel to anyone...

Quite simply.one of the worst places I have stayed in ever. Door to the room was stained with something red...carpet was disgusting and the room had to be aired out from the smell. Cinder block walls give a jail like atmosphere and the tiny TV is located in a place that makes you u plug and move it to a chair so you can see it from the bed. Bathroom walls and ceiling were mouldy and obviously not cleaned. The "kitchen" was laughable as well. Slept in my clothes on top of the ancient scratchy blanket thrown on the bed. Highly recommend you spend 200 a nite anywhere else.

The motel has nice large rooms with queen sized beds. There is a microwave oven, a mini fridge, a coffee machine, dining table and chairs, a flat-screen TV, carpeted flooring, a chest of drawers, a clothes rack and room heating. The bathroom has a bathtub. Towels, soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and moisturizer are provided. There is no in-house restaurant but there are many restaurants within walking distance on Peninsula Road, and a Japanese restaurant next door. Being a motel there is a big parking lot. Service is friendly and good.

Pretty decent little motel - it was well priced, and very warm on a cold evening, excellent hot shower and comfortable beds. Very clean bedding and suite. I'd give 4 stars, but electricity kept shutting down when I tried using hair straightener. Also, there was no hair dryer in the bathroom, and mattresses were a tad uneven. However, if not for the electricity, it was a no frills, but a cozy and affordable stay. Also, the owner was there during my late check in, much appreciated 👍.
