The Wreckage is a beautiful shop with local trinkets and kayak related goods that worth a stop, even if just to look at the historic kayaks and woodworking tools. James is both knowledgable and skillful about kayaks. Having had private skills improvement session with James, I can say that he is passionate and skillful in teaching as well. I was happy to be out in the biggest conditions I had been in for some time and felt confident having James there with me. I was provided with a plan for going forward to improve my skills and he also went above and beyond providing some rolling tips even after our session had ended.
