I had a wonderful time exploring Cerro Alegre in Valparaíso. This vibrant hillside neighborhood is known for its colorful street art, charming architecture, and winding alleyways. The mix of murals and old buildings gives it a unique character, reflecting Valparaíso's artistic and bohemian spirit. Historically, the area became popular in the late 19th century as European immigrants settled here, shaping its eclectic style. Tours usually bring people here but you can just stroll around yourselves. Also one of the safer areas in town.

Beautiful place to know better the street art from valparaiso, foreign would love this colored street and delicious restaurants on the hill. Its very secure up in the hill. Also you can use all the very old elevators. Its a good and adventure propose for one day. You need to walk a lot

We ordered tuna and beef steak. The tuna was excellent. Respect to the chef because the beef steak was prepared according to art but the quality of the meat was good for a goulash. The wine was wonderful.

O cerro mais popular de valparaiso e de mais fácil acesso para os turistas. É recomendado subir pelo elevador El Peral que fica na plaza de la justicia. Descendo na estação porto, em direção a plaza Sotomayor, manter na mesma calçada até chegar na plaza de la justicia. Você vai encontrar uma porta pequena a esquerda, um pouco antes da estatua. Eu paguei 100 pesos chiles para subir, mas no verão pode subir para 300. Levar dinheiro em espécie, não aceita cartão. Sempre gui depois do almoço e aproveitei para caminhar pela ruas e comer com uma vista para o mar.

Cerro Alegre es un lugar con vistas hermosas del puerto, pero a la vez tiene sus propios lugares para disfrutar de un Valparaíso más histórico, bien cuidado con restaurantes desde unos elegantes hasta otros más sencillos y de comida más sencilla. El placer de poder caminar por sus calles o acceder a su elevador, puede hacer un paseo barato y muy bonito, comprar un helado por el camino y disfrutar solo, en compañía o con la familia de un paseo de toda un mañana o tarde sin problemas disfrutando un lugar con su propia magia.
