La Galería B&B — Hotel in Valparaíso

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The B&B is housed in a beautiful old building, which adds a lot of character to the experience. The high ceilings, tall doors, and large windows create a charming atmosphere.

The terrace in our room and the common terrace were absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the colorful houses of Valparaíso. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area, making it easy to explore the city.

Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, including fresh bread, juice, and eggs. You can enjoy this on the terrace. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to provide us with recommendations and even writing them down.

Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this B&B for its charm, views, and excellent service.

Nice location and cool staff. The place is in the heart of the street art center, uphill. Breakfast is solid, the terrace is cool.

But: beacause it is a very old house (Altbau with high ceilings, it is very noisy, especially when your room is next to the kitchen at the first floor. The shared bathrooms are... well, let‘s just say, a renovation would be good. And they are next to the kitchen, so choose your bathroom time wisely. 😊

There is potential for more. Most annoying is the noise, especially in the night, because you hear everything what is going on in front of your door and at the second floor. Yes, it is a hostel. Hostels are social places and noisy. Bring the best earplugs you can buy and you will...

Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are very spacious, shower excellent and wifi reliable. The breakfast is terrible, can't understand why they don't allow guests use the kitchen. Overall thought it extremely overpriced. Would of been more reasonable but they included tax (IVA) of 19% on top of the advertised price. They were the first Chilean hostel to do so in over a month of traveling there, this was despite offering to pay in US dollars. For the price would expect more, in particular heating...
