Trip to Hongkong and Macau 😘 PC : Madhur ohri

Fabulous place as it includes ferry ⛴ and lunch. Food was very delicious 🤤. Macao 🇲🇴 is full of casinos 🎰 as if you are interested in gambling then this destination is for you. Excellent views can be had on a good day, especially if you had keen interest in Chinese culture. Travel to Macau on the wonderful ferry ⛴ is very comfortable and quick. It was a glamorous experience of boarding a ferry ⛴ from Macau 🇲🇴 to Hongkong. Located at the iconic central harbourfront, the observation wheel offers spectacular day and night views of Hongkong’s famous skyline 🌃 and much more. What a wonderful time we had at Disney land. Really loved the rides and the character. The Frozen fantasy garden isn’t a ride, but it’s beautiful 😍 at night, especially with the “snow” falling down. Snow ❄️ appears to be mini bubbles/ foam, but it didn’t matter. Met different characters like moana, snow white and chip munks. Also, got a chance to meet Donald Duck 🦆 at Disney land. Famous theme park located inside the Hongkong Disney land resort. Also , they had a mall which has a parking facility available for their dog 🐶. Would highly recommend to watch the lion 🦁 show and mickey show which was very interesting one. Only thing I would suggest the people to go for toy story mania. Must visit place as you will fall in love 🥰 with the Disney land. A lot of new attractions. I still miss the fireworks 🎆. Plenty of vegetarian food is available at Disneyland and it is the most happiest and memorable place on earth. We were so much amazed with the fabulous shows and the iron man is one new place to visit. The rides were a bit exciting. Manage to avail all the rides and our favourite one was big grizzly mountain 🏔 runaway mine cars in grizzly gulch and toy soldier parachute drop in toy story land. Iron man experience is similar to transformers in universal studios but transformers is better. Winnie the Pooh was very cute and an adorable character. Mickey show, two parades, lunch 🥗 and bit of shopping 🛍. Majority of the people in Hongkong follow Chinese traditional religion which is a mixture of Buddhism ☸️, Taoism and Confucianism, accentuated by local practices and beliefs. Buddhism ☸️ is a Hongkong’s dominant religion. Hongkong is a true food 🥘 paradise, with some of the world’s best restaurants, from cheap eats and street food. It is a gastronomic city 🌃 in every way, offering a wide range of experiences from fine dining to awesome, delicious 😋...

🇲🇴 Macau, which was once a Portuguese colony, is a special administrative region of China that is located on the southern coast of China. Casinos, a rich history, and cultural heritage are what set it apart.

+There are many luxurious casinos in Macau, including the Venetian Macau, City of Dreams, and MGM Macau, which provide a variety of gambling and entertainment options.

+Macau's rich history and cultural heritage are rooted in a blend of Chinese and Portuguese influences. The city is known for its historical landmarks, which include the Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and the Macau Museum.

+Macau's nightlife has a vibrant atmosphere, and there are numerous bars, clubs, and lounges to select from. -The influx of people and noise in Macau, especially during peak tourist season, can be overwhelming for some visitors.

-Visitors find it challenging to get around in Macau without a car or taxi due to the limited public transportation options.

-The extreme heat and humidity make traveling to Macau during the summer/hot season not advisable. The outdoor activities and sightseeing that Macau has to offer can be challenging.

-The lack of readily available information about transportation options and places to visit may present challenges for some travelers in Macau. The majority of the population speaks mainly Chinese or Portuguese, but have limited proficiency in English or other widely spoken languages. The language barrier can cause problems when seeking help, asking for directions, or having meaningful interactions with locals. ◉The ideal time to plan a trip is during the cooler months, such as October to December or January to March. The weather during that time is more enjoyable and accommodating for sightseeing and outdoor pursuits.

*Getting to Macau from Hong Kong:

There are several modes of transportation available from Hong Kong to Macau, such as:

1/ Ferry is the preferred method of travel between Hong Kong and Macau. The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and the SkyPier at Hong Kong International Airport are among the many ferry terminals in Hong Kong. The ferry journey takes approximately an hour.

2/ Travelers have the option to take a high-speed train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou to Zhuhai, then switch to a bus or taxi to reach Macau. The train ride is about 2-3 hours long. 「Overall, Macau offers a plethora of cultural experiences and attractions...

Hong Kong is incomplete without Macau!! . We planned our visit for Macau on our 3rd Day. . Macau is described as the Las Vegas of the East and also it’s a Portuguese territory. Hong Kong and Macau are connected and one can travel by bus 🚌 & ferry ⛴ We decided to take a ferry and it was a great journey.😀 . On reaching Macau we started our sightseeing and spent our first half in watching the historic places like Forteleza Do Monte, Ruins of St. Pauls 💒& Senado Square. All the places are beautiful in themselves. . Macau is really beautiful and a photogenic place 📸 If you are the one who likes to click pictures, then this is the place; as every corner has something or the other. . Senado Square to Ruins of St. Pauls route is filled with different shops. Don’t forget to take a bite on Macau’s famous Egg Tart’s & Pork Buns. . We tried Egg tart that had a crispy crust and soft pudding-like a mixture of eggs. . We also had our lunch at Senado Square which was a spread of Rice 🍚, Chicken fry 🍗& Vegetable curry served with Coke 🥤 I liked the fried chicken as the crust was crisp and tasty. . Post lunch we decided to explore the other side of Macau which included The Venetian & Parisian. . The Venetian is a luxury hotel and casino resort that resembles the Venice, Italy and it also features architectural replicas of various Venetian landmarks. It’s really an amazing experience when you see the hotel and its architecture. Being a huge property once you enter its confusing to exit. . We also visited the upper level of Parisian- Macau’s Eiffel Tower. From there you get to see the beautiful city of Macau & the beautiful garden that is opposite to the tower. There’s nothing much you can do here so we just clicked few pics and made our exit from the Tower. . We enjoyed our Macau visit but at the same time had a few difficulties that made our journey a bit hectic & tiring. Locals don’t understand English and thus we faced problems while travelling. . Overall we enjoyed our day in Macau. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #macau #daywellspent #portugalcity #macaulife #traveller #enjoylife...

Macau Island, often referred to as the "Gambling Capital of the World," is a fascinating island blending rich history, vibrant culture, and modern entertainment. This island city is nestled on the southern coast of China, a small renowned territory of China, before surrendering back to China it was part of the Portuguese colony. Here lies a unique fusion of Portuguese and Chinese influences, which is evident in its architecture, cuisine, and traditions. One of the most striking features of Macau is its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Historic Centre. Strolling through the cobblestone streets, visitors can admire the stunning ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral, the charming Senado Square, and the colorful A-Ma Temple. These sites not only showcase the island's colonial past but also offer a glimpse into its diverse cultural tapestry. Macau is famous for its world-class casinos, consisting a significant number in total there are about 50 odds in number which attract millions of tourists each year. The Venetian Macao, with its opulent design and gondola rides, is a must-visit for those looking to experience the glitz and glamour of the gaming industry. However, the island offers much more than just gambling. The culinary scene is a highlight, with a plethora of dining options ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to local street food stalls. Be sure to try the iconic egg tarts and Macanese dishes like African chicken and pork chop buns. Beyond the casinos and historical sites, Macau boasts beautiful landscapes, including the serene beaches of Coloane and the scenic hiking trails of the hills. The blend of urban life and natural beauty makes it an ideal destination for all types of travelers. I concludes, that Macau Island is a captivating destination that offers a unique experience combining history, culture, and entertainment. Whether you're exploring its rich heritage, indulging in its culinary delights, or trying your luck at the tables, Macau promises an unforgettable adventure.
