Santander Park — Attraction in Bogota, Capital District

Stinky and dirty park! I truly do not recommend this place. There were random holes on the floor which is definitely not safe if you are travelling with kids. Also as said in some other reviews, skateboarder are everywhere which doesn't bother me that much since it bring a bit of character to the park. Beggars are something that you can also expect to see. El día de celebración por las mujeres, 08- marzo estuve en un evento sobre fotografía, claro que Ellas podían participar con sus mejores momentos y practicar en sus celulares, para luego exponer todos los resultados. Allí en el parque se ve que las drogas han tomado bastante terreno, personas que solo quieren tener sus dosis, ignorando las familias, turistas y a nosotros que por ser de asistencia general las cámaras de noticieros nos acompaban. Triste porque Parque Santander ha sido un destino cultural y hace parte de la Bogotá más original por su historia, rodeado además por tiendas de tejidos, joyas, sombreros etc. Si nuestra fuerza pública se encuentra concentrada en otros puntos, ni siquiera el agua de aquella fuente servirá para las aves que también se alimentan de desechos en el Centro de esta cuidad que convirtió la Cra...

Nice little plaza with lots of street vendors and skateboarding kids. It is located right in front of the museum of Gold which is how I ended up there. Taxis are parked all around in case you need one. The guys with the Lamas really stand out especially for the kids...
