Rustic cabins La Fortuna — Attraction in La Fortuna

I would strictly recommend Lilly Y Familia’s rustic cabin for a stay in La Fortuna. Firstly, David ( who takes care of things ) was a really helpful, kind natured young man who was quick to reply to messages ( David responded within minutes ) which we found very reassuring. Directions to find the cabin were very clear and it is very easy to drive to. The location is about a 5 min drive from La Fortuna with plenty of good supermarkets and restaurants. This was our base for exploring Arenal Volcano Park - easy drives to hikes, etc. We did cook dinner twice - in the cabin - and the stove / clean utensils allowed us to do this easily. Take out food we brought back to the cabin to eat - it is so nice around the cabin we wanted to enjoy the lush gardens during the evening. The cabin was very clean - we are a family of 6 with 2 children and we had no concerns staying there. The design of the cabin is fun too. If we return to La Fortuna our family will book this again....

When I stayed in these cabins it was in September 2019 and the weather was just absolutely beautiful. The views were simply to die for, the way the cabins were designed and accommodated was simply worth it. Not only the view, but the host service as well. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful "get- away." The massages that are available are absolutely great. I wish I could've stayed more time!! A week was totally not enough... big thanks to the host, Lily! She's is so sweet, caring, and took care of every single need that I had. And to top it off, the place where it's located is convenient, because everything is at walking distance (not too far). Any tour company can pick you up at the front gate....

January 10, 2016, my family of 5 stayed in this comfortable cabin. There was a small pool next to a bubbly brook. We saw iguanas in the trees. the landscaping looks like houseplants on steroids. Our rental car was securely parked behind a gate. Cabanas Rusticas is off a short gravel road. A field of papayas grows across the street and you have a gran view of Arenal Volcano to the west. It was pleasantly quite, with outdoor seating on the covered patio. We had a full size refrigerator and microwave. I will seek to stay here again on my next vacation to Costa Rica. The person I dealt with at Cabanas Rusticas communicated with me just fine although I don't speak Spanish and she didn't speak English. A very pleasant stay with a...
