Fantastic place in Zagreb to spend more hours. It is always an engagement with an exhibition that gives more insight into national and international culture and art by its content and concept, thereby contributing to your insights, regardless of whether you come from Croatian, Chinese, Greek, or you are crooked. In addition to the perfect position of the building, just in the historical part of old Zagreb, so that you can get to know all the points that go with the history, to the Klodic Palace, it is also a viewport that enables you to see the entire city...

They regularly host interesting exhibitions, with good amount of info about exhibits in both Croatian and English, but the way they do lighting (my pet peeve about most local museums and galleries) ruins the experience every single time large oil canvases are exhibited: the obligatory strong reflectors pointing at paintings at a weird angle - instead of diffused light - often make it impossible too see the paintings in full from any point in the room, much less to step closer to observe any details higher than your eye-level, because these will always be obscured by a large patch of reflected light. I'm of average height and able to stand; I imagine it's even worse for children/very short people, or those...

Dvije blagajne jedna do druge - stolac do stolca. Kupujem dvije karte i pokušavam uz to kupiti suvenir torbu. Ne može. Suvenire prodaje kolega sa stolca pored. OK. ...

🟡An okay museum. Been there for two exhibits, for Bodies and World of Robots, and for some reason, both exhibits were very bland. It's a large space, so lots of exhibits can be shown, but every time I went there the rooms were half empty. Not sure why that is. I probably won't go there a third time. ✅️ The Staff is friendly and capable. 💲💲Prices are ok. Expensive, but not too expensive. ⚠️ This is the center of Zagreb so NO PARKING nearby. Your best bet is to park somewhere else like Garaža Tuškanac and walk to the museum. ⚠️ If you see some exhibit that you REALLY REALLY like, then visit. Otherwise, avoid.

Cijena ulaznice je 60kn, i treba oko 2 sata da se sve vidi i na miru poslika.😎 Katarina the Great - fantastic museum show, with a lot of interesting art pieces from St. Petersburg Ermitrage which will be hard to see in such amount in upcoming years in this area. Ticket is 60HRK you would need 2 hours for easy going exploration.

A really beautiful museum located in the upper part of the city which is considered the old town! Some exhibits are temporary. Very informative exhibitions and extensive collections! Great lighting for the art and spaced well throughout the various levels of the building. The inner courtyard is really lovely! I went on a weekend and there was a long line, so we went out for a coffee nearby and when we came back there was hardly any line at all. There’s also a gift shop inside.
