Highly recommended! The tuna steak is gem, the best, and must try.

Love the food here. All of them were good, but my absolute favorite was the tuna steak. It was melt in your mouth level good. We ordered it medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. We also love the seafood platter. It was fresh and tasty. Other foods are not bad, but not that wow, but getting two on the menus that we really like is already enough. Their food tends to be a bit on salty side though, but maybe that’s one of the reason why I like the food here. The sides of the dishes were simple, but we like it nonetheless.

We had an early dinner here at around 5pm, we were actually the only table there at the beginning until people started filling up the place full. The server was really nice, all smiles and polite (which was our first in Split, maybe because the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time but we appreciated the niceness anyway). The food was quick and so was the bill.

One little minus point though.. it was really hot outdoor as it is located kinda in between the building, so there’s no wind whatsoever. They didn’t have a fan either. We thought about going inside but there was no AC and now it’s hot and stuffy. We ate soaking wet in sweat, but in the least the...

My partner and I had dinner here yesterday and had a decent time. The staff was friendly (host and waiter), but they didn’t check in on us during the meal, and the food…was ‘ok.’

  1. the prices felt a bit high when compared to better restaurants with similar prices nearby
  2. I ordered Salmon Pasta with fettuccini noodles— and I had to request a separate bowl to remove the sauce… I have never done that in 31 years 😅. I don’t think the chef knew how to make pasta because it was soup. The waiter asked how the food was at the end, and I told him this - so this isn’t a surprise review. I did expect him, especially after seeing the separate bowl of cream and hearing directly that I was unsatisfied…to do something about it - whether it’s offer something else because I left hungry or discount the meal - and nothing happened. :/
  3. my partner ordered the steak and a side, and we were both surprised when the dish came out. We didn’t realize it came with potatoes since it wasn’t on the menu. He was disappointed not to know the steak had already included sides… or we would not have ordered and paid for an additional side.

I recommend a new menu that includes what comes with the main dishes…and maybe classes on how to make pasta, or...

Recently visited Split and decide to sit into temple kitchen for dinner. The restaurant was relatively busy and the menu seemed nice. We sat ordered drinks and enjoyed the music they had. We ordered two steaks, cooked to medium and medium rare however it was not explained that there would be no sides with meat, as stated in the menu. We noticed just before our food came out that the table of 6 beside us were also confused as they just received meat (also angered). I think for the price (which We had no problem paying for) that we paid for two steaks that normally it would contain some additions or at least be mentioned to us. After over an hour our food arrived which for two steaks is pretty extra ordinary especially with no extra food. We then ordered a side of chips which were not fully cooked. The steak itself was eaten before they arrived and it was fairly average hence I gave it an extra star. Bad experience at a hefty price for average food...

Unfriendly staffs. We reserved 7 people early. However, when we arrived, they offered us a small table of six ppl. right next to entry door which also doesn't have reservations sign on the table. Right next to us is another empty table for 7-8 people (with reservation sign). I asked if we can change. They said no. Since we 7 adults really cannot squeeze in this small table, I asked again. After their two staffs discussed, a waitress told us that we can transfer to next table BUT with very unfriendly face and not even looking at us. Turn out, after we fished our dinner about 1.5 hr, next table finally came. Also 7 ppl. I wonder, how do you arrange the table? Can guests describe exactly which table they want to sit while they reserved? Or you just pick which table you want to serve based on the guest nationality? Def. not recommend. Wondering how the high review came from?

10 out of 5 one of the best bang for buck and taste experience I have had. The steak was perfectly cooked. The the lamb almost brought a tear to my eye. The vegetables where fresh and not over cooked. The chicken couldn't be better unless it was imported directly from Valhalla! I have no words to describe how happy this meal made me. Fare warning they suggest the kings plate is for two people, I took on the challenge alone. I honestly believe they ment 4. I survived by myself but I slept for almost 12 hours. It was the best sleep I've had in years. Last but not least was the staff they are friendly and knowledgeable not only about their own business but the surrounding area. I wish that I could bring this whole establishment back home to Chicago with me!
