Breathtaking View, Frustrating Service, RUDE staff 😭

This place gets 5 stars for the view! Absolutely stunning panorama of the city. However, the service needs a major overhaul (1 star). It's a confusing mix of self-service and table service. You order at the bar and get a number, but then there's no clear system for how you get your food. The staff wander around asking customers what they ordered! There is no announcement system for order numbers. In my case, my tea arrived as just hot water and lemon - no tea bag!

To make matters worse, when they can't find an order, they get RUDE, as if it's the customer's fault for the unclear system ! 🤯

The place is lovely for the view, as long as you don't visit the restaurant. The service seemed fine but the quality of the food for the price was just ridiculous. We ordered two salads to go - with a grilled chicken breast and one with salmon, and what we got was a fairly small portion of some chopped lettuce with a so-so cooked chicken breast and some dressing and a similarly small portion with some more veg and a lukewarm salmon. Der Hanavský-Pavillon oder Hanau-Pavillon ist ein am Rand des Letná-Parks im Prager Stadtteil Holešovice gelegener Pavillon. Für die Prager Jubiläumsausstellung 1891, die anlässlich des hundertjährigen Jubiläums der ersten Industrieausstellung in Prag 1791 stattfand, ist die Gusseisenkonstruktion im Pseudobarockstil entworfen und gebaut worden. Das Exponat wurde von Fürst Wilhelm von Hanau in Auftrag gegeben, der die damals größte böhmische Eisengießerei in Komárov besaß und mit dem Gebäude für seine Produkte warb. Der Entwurf der gusseisernen Konstruktion stammte von dem österreichischen Architekten Otto Hieser, während die dekorativen Elemente von dem Bildhauer Zdeněk Emanuel Fiala nach Entwürfen des Architekten Josef Hercik ausgeführt wurden. Vor dem Ende der Ausstellung schenkte der Fürst von Hanau den Pavillon der Stadt Prag. Das Bauwerk wurde 1898 demontiert, in den Letná-Park verbracht und dort wieder zusammengesetzt.
