My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late September 2024. We had asked for and got a room high up in the building with views over Prague Castle and the Little Quarter (the picture shows our view). We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Klarov very much, and would like to share our experience.||The hotel:|A charming older building with 19th Century details and high ceilings. Our Queen-themed (the British rock band, not the sovereign) room was renovated to a modern standard. ||If you cannot do stairs at all, this is not the hotel for you. It has a small elevator, but to get into the lobby and to your room, you have to be able to walk at least a few steps up and down. ||Room:|Our Deluxe room was spacious and comfortable, and the daily housekeeping kept it very clean. We enjoyed nice and warm weather most days, and the in-room climate control kept it perfectly cool during the night. There were som beeps at night from the air-conditioning, but the fan itself was not loud. ||Nice spacious bathroom with good water pressure. Products offered included shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, liquid hand soap, hand- & body lotion, tissues, cotton rounds and cotton sticks. ||We had both a safe locker and a small fridge/mini bar in our room, which we appreciated. There were also some complimentary chips and nuts waiting for us, which was a nice touch. ||Location and surroundings:|The hotel is located in the Little Quarter, on the west bank of the river and very close to the Manesuv Most bridge. This means that you are out of the Old Town crowds, but still close enough that you can walk everywhere. ||The Malostranska underground station and tram/bus stop is very close, just across the cute park in front of the hotel. When we had the windows open, the noise from trams, buses and other traffic was disturbing, but with the double windows closed, we could hardly hear it at all. ||The staff:|Daniel at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, and spoke excellent English. He was the only reception staff we met. The staff in the breakfast room were also very nice. ||Breakfast:|The included breakfast buffet had a good selection of warm and cold dishes, and great coffee from an automatic machine. You got the most variety of breakfast foods if you got there early, but even if when we chose to sleep in one day, we got what we wanted of scrambled eggs, bread and fruit (and did I mention the coffee?).||In conclution: |We will definitely stay here again if we ever...

Bottom line: The hotel is excellent! extremely recommended.

We stayed at the hotel at 14-18/12/19 during our stay at Prague.

The GOOD:

Prime location: The hotel is located at the center of the city, at walking distance from any of the main attractions of the city. There is a metro station just across the road and a tram stop just below the hotel which several tram lines pass through.

Magical view: You either get the view of the famous Prague castle or the river, both are amazing.

The staff: The staff are extremely nice, very welcoming, speaking perfect English and are willing to help with any issue. Moreover, we visited during my birthday and had some amazing treatment from the hotel staff.

Clean: Everything is clean and nice, gives a pleasant feeling all throughout.

The Building: The hotel building is a 19 century residence house which is beautifully renovated and kept in very good state.

The OK:

Breakfast: The breakfast is OK-ish, you get everything you need but don't expect any vast verities. Also doesn't change so much and stayed pretty much the same through the 4 breakfasts we had.

The Not-so-good:

This is a private case that happened to us and most people won't encounter but still worth mentioning. We had a family member who lives in Prague visit us in one of the mornings and wanted him to eat breakfast with us. We asked the day before and were told by the staff member (which was pretty new) that the price for extra person is about 100 CZK. At the next morning at breakfast, we verified again, this time with the senior staff member, and were told that the price is 450 CZK, which is pretty much a price of full dinner for 2 at a good restaurant. Of course it was too late as the family member was already at the hotel, so we had the breakfast but stayed with a bit...

Hello everyone! We were at this hotel from February 2 to February 4. I really liked the hotel. Literally everything!!!|The hotel itself is located next to the old town of Praga1. On foot for 10 minutes you can get to the city center, where all the sights are located. Near the hotel there is a metro, tram lines. But this does not interfere with living. The hotel is very cozy. The hotel has everything you wish:|Bathrobes, slippers, cotton swabs, cotton slippers, shower cap, very good quality soap, hand lotion, shampoo, shower gel. A lot of towels: for the face, for the hands, for the body, hairdryer.|Stunning view from the window. The hotel is very clean and warm. The room also has air conditioning. The room has a minibar, coffee machine, cups, tea. There are glasses for wine, champagne and whiskey.|Breakfast was very nice too. There is plenty of choice and variety of cheeses, sausages, jam and yoghurt. Delicious bread.|The hotel is located in a very good place. I liked literally everything. I would like to say thanks to the girl Sofia, who met us at the reception. She answered all the questions and told us where and where you can go and see.|The hotel is very comfortable and beautiful. I advise you to visit this hotel. We'The hotel plays very beautiful music, it seems that you will get into the theater. We'll definitely go back...

Although just for one night, I had amazing stay at Hotel Klarov. I had a late night check-in after the initial hotel I booked did not show up for me (not having a reception within their own check-in period). Late night, I had to search for a place to stay and I was lucky enough to be welcomed by Olga in Hotel Klarov (just a lucky press at the reception button). I was in my room in 15 minutes. After the tiring and exhausting day, I had a relaxing night and a decent sleep. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. I would have stayed longer to be honest. In the morning, I was greeted by Daniel. Super cool and welcoming guy with very interesting hobbies. He was very communicative and accommodating to all the guests and extends help proactively. The awful night I had turned out be nothing short of amazing. Been to couple of hotels when I travel but it is really the people who run it that makes the whole experience extraordinary. Olga and Daniel are doing an amazing job in making sure the guests are comfortable and take care of.

The location of this hotel was excellent. It is easily accessible by tram/bus/metro. All the major touristic attractions are only a few minutes by walk. The view from this hotel is stunning! It is in very beautiful neighborhood. The interiors of the hotel is exquisite. The stairs and corridors are nicely decorated. The room was sparkling clean and spacious. The ceiling was high and the room has a lot of natural lights. If you are not a fan of lights, there are good blinds as well. The room also had spacious wardrobe and mini fridge. They provided high quality toiletries in ample quantity. The room had smart TV and good quality sound system. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered us coffee/tea even after we checked out. We could leave our luggage after checkout and pick it up later. They handled our luggage with care. Breakfast was decent.

Fantastic experience at this hotel. Large clean rooms. Ideal location to explore Prague. Close to transit nodes or just to set off on foot up to the Castle or across the bridge into New Town. Staff are incredible. Super clean and housekeeping is very timely and thorough. Breakfast has a ton of choice. Breakfast hours 07h00-10h30 daily. Only 2x small gripes / constructive points: - Noisy. Can hear footsteps in above floor rooms and from the hallway. Bring a fan or white noise. - Wifi range. Signal is really degraded into the bedroom of Jr Suite.
