Hanau pavilion — Restaurant in Prague

Great view, nice outside seating (garden), cute restaurant (if it is open). However the food is "meh" at a high price. The service, as it is now, is seriously unhappy about life and the universe in general and the customers in particular (you can pry out pretty nice attitude if you are properly nice to them, tips do not help - simply very nice). Poor guys, it is probably hard to be bitter all the time...

The reason i'm writing this is the burger - Do not get the f-n Burger! Cold bun, bland BBQ catchup, mayo and flat and dry pate. The veggies were ok, but they are not the reason you get a burger. Fries on the side - not redeeming the plate. The chicken soup was ok. If you need to - get a drink from the bar and run away!

ATTENTION ALL TRAVELERSAfter reading the other reviews i see that I am not the only one who had to deal with their staff telling me their card machine was "broken" . Although it 's not the end of the world because i always keep some local currency on hand, this place should most definitely take card payments given the fact that they are highly overpriced . What would i have done if i didn't bring any cash that day? wash the dishes in the back? I think not since know where is there any sign saying cash only. Other than that the food was okay and the service was average. This is a great view but come on lets get it together folks. Its 2018 there's no reason you should be running a restaurant like its still...

Terribly unfriendly and unprofessional service. Instead of walking 10 steps up to the table with the nicest view, they put a little note "reserved". When we asked if we could sit at that table, we were told no, because everybody would want to sit there! We offered to take the wine up by ourselves. Then when we wanted to change the table for a better one, we were told off, because it was PROHIBITED!! surely the worst Prague experience. I felt like a school child during the communist time. If you want to take a lesson how not to do it, this is definitely the best place...never again, although the view is stunning. What a shame. Can't the owner see these...
