Between Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, we have visited over fifty wineries and Easley is one of the few that we have visited more than a handful of times. Why? Beside the great wine, the staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable and they love to share it with you at every tasting. This aspect of the experience is not overlooked by many wineries but the ones that do not offer it are really doing a disservice to their guests. This time we were lucky enough to have Kathy. She provided us with one of the best tasting experiences we have had in a long time. We had just came from a less than stellar tasting at Urban Vines and Kathy was a ray of sunshine. We walked in and she immediately invited us over to the bar where she was just beginning a tasting. She suggested and explained how to best do the tasting but also made it clear it was just a suggestion. Her suggestion made perfect sense. Go with it. There were about 10 of us around the tasting bar and Kathy was very engaging in explaining the history of the winery (it used to be and ice cream factory) as well as a little backstory about each wine and kept up a good pace at the same time (she even snuck in a couple of bonus tasting:). I feel that is exactly how a great tasting should go. Each time we have visited Easley, the person leading the tasting has always been friendly and knowledgeable but Kathy was a rock star. We tend to lean more towards wines that are sweeter and Easley wines do not disappoint. Their Margarita wine is AMAZING! In a previous visit we did the small tour they offer of their facilities and highly recommend it. Of course we will be returning!

Easley Winery, nestled in one of the older areas of town, offers a charming glimpse into a small, family-owned winery. The warm staff adds to the inviting atmosphere, making visitors feel welcome and at ease. However, my experience with their wines was mixed. As someone who doesn't typically enjoy wine, I found their non-sweet wines lacking, with a few even having an unpleasant rubbing alcohol aftertaste. Unfortunately, the Sweet Tulip Moscato was particularly disappointing. For those who favor sweeter wines, Easley Winery has some redeeming options. The Sweet Barrel Red and the popular Reggae Red stood out as enjoyable choices. These selections might make the visit worthwhile, especially given the winery's reasonable pricing, which is often cheaper than average. The ambiance, while a bit dated, has its own rustic charm. The inside area feels somewhat old-fashioned, and the outdoor seating resembles a homey porch. A small waterfall adds a pleasant touch, though the proximity to the older part of the city is noticeable. Overall, Easley Winery is worth checking out for its affordability, sweet wine offerings, and friendly staff, despite some shortcomings in the wine quality and ambiance.

A perfect Saturday afternoon at Easley winery. We had a great time. The service is very nice and great wine. The prices are very reasonable and the tasting portion size is generous. We ended up buying a couple of bottles and do plan to visit again. The patio seating is very relaxing and enjoyable. I don’t think they have a kitchen but it would be great if we can order something to eat with the tastings. Nevertheless worth a visit.

We visit many wineries and this was one of the most disappointing that we've ever been to. We sampled a flight of 7 wines for $8, but we weren't allowed to choose which 7 of the 35 wines we wanted to sample. We were given a choice between 2 preselected flights, one of which was (supposedly) dry wines and the other choice was a sweet list. We prefer semi dry to semi sweet wines, so we werent off to a good start. I don't understand why you would boast about 35 wines if WE can't choose which...
