If I could give more stars, I would. This is the best chocolate/macaroons shop in Paris. I am not a fan of macaroons….but in this shop, I would eat them all. So you can tell they are different. They are heavenly macaroons. The best and most unique taste is the rose flavor. No other chocolatier has this unique flavor. You can buy some from others (Laduree), but they are far from the macaroons of Christophe Roussel. If there is paradise and mana, it must taste like the rose macaroons from this shop.
And I also regret I did not buy the chocolates. I got 2 pieces as samples and I tasted them at home…. Wow, you can also make chocolate! I think you have taken the chocolate making to the celestial level of professionalism.
Luckily, I bought the rum cake. And even better, I do come to Paris for business. Next time, my shopping list will be very long.
Thank you for caring about quality and craftsmanship. It is unique these days. Thank you, Christophe Roussel...

As I said it was a bit early for all this decadent sweet stuff without maybe a nice cappuccino. ADD...

I liked the flavor of the ones we ordered and the openness to make new flavors (the Rose one was such a unique taste, I couldn’t describe it other than… rose-y) The Rose one is definitely an either you love it or your hate it though.
However, for all of the macarons, I found that the filling were a bit too wet. Biting into the macaron was not as smooth since the structure was not sturdy given how the 2 shells are moving because of how the filling is a bit wet. It’s more of an eating experience thing than a taste thing. The taste was still good. I wish success for the store and...
