Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and we had a good time, although I do have a few niggles. Please note that if you're getting the train, there aren't any signs and a lot of areas are closed off so it took a bit of navigation to find the hotel from the train station (though it's not far). ||PROS: |1. 10-minute walk to the parks, so easy and means you can nip back if needed. |2. Downtown Restaurant is great (we only had dinner but very good).|3. The hotel in general is beautiful and well-maintained.|4. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, some of the best staff I've experienced anywhere.|5. Beds were very comfortable.|6. Rooms were large and included things I appreciated such as a decent hairdryer, lots of sockets including international ports, good bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), a vanity pack (shower cap, cotton wool, nail file) and a makeup mirror. Plenty of room to spread out.|7. The sauna (steam room was out of order) and pools, including bubble pools, were a lovely perk and great way to relax after a day at the parks!|||CONS:|1. The soundproofing was horrific and disturbed our sleep and ability to relax in the room. The rooms either side were fine but we could hear everything going on upstairs - conversations, the coffee machine, the TV, footsteps, things that sounded like bowling balls being dropped...|2. There's a need for a sundry shop and a quick-service restaurant for snacks and lighter meals, you won't find this here.|3. The room was at the back of the hotel and was extremely dark (although had good artificial lighting).|4. It's a shame that, considering the size of the room, the toilet is not separate to the bathroom and the makeup mirror is in the bathroom. If someone needs to use the loo or have a private shower, you'll have to wait to do your makeup. There's a normal full-length mirror in the bedroom but the biggest mirror is also the TV which is a lovely novelty but it does not really function as a mirror.|5. Tea and coffee facilities were good but it was strange to have paper cups and no teaspoons in an otherwise very high-end hotel.|6. I would have liked Mickey towels on the bed!|||TIPS:|1. Ask for a top floor room at the front of the hotel.|2. Reception will provide you with a robe and slippers if you ask, very nice to have that.|3. We struggled to book Downtown before arrival but if you ask the Concierge, they will fit you in. Wish I'd known this and saved myself daily struggles on the app!|4. You have to ask for daily room service but they will request for the whole stay if you ask at the start. We had to ask for extra water one day and they brought it straight up.
