Martin brought to life the automotive history of Berlin for us during this tour. As an Argentinian journalist based in Berlin who covers the automotive industry, there is a lot of depth to the information that he shares. He is also well prepared to answer a lot of adjacent historical questions in regards to Berlin. He clearly has done his research surrounding the various stops that we make on our tour.
Although the group was small, just myself and my husband, Martin remained committed to leading the tour to ensure that we received this interesting perspective. He covers everything from the first car ever made by Mercedes to modernized vehicles that are powered by electric, and maybe one day hydrogen. He was friendly and we loved that in between the stops we had time to get to know him sharing questions and experiences about all of our travels.
There is so many places we would’ve never thought to visit or it not for his guidance, including the race track upon which Hitler led his propaganda as well as great scheme to build the fastest cars of that time.
