Kupferstichkabinett Berlin — Attraction in Berlin

Near to the Potsdamer Platz, the Tiergarten and the Philharmonic concert hall of Berlin, as a part of the "Kulturforum" in the middle of Berlin, this is one of the best exhibition halls in the city. The architecture is some awful 80ies brutalism style, but inside the rooms are very special for good exhibitions. They have a lot of very famous artist and be part of the more famous "Museumsinsel" but just for smaller grafic, photografic and other natural paintings. Sorry, no modernism ... also the museum shop has a lot of fine stuff and special gifts. The restaurant inside is small but good service. Go to there and you will leave with a lot of impressions ... far of the mass galleries for...

3 Visit - Der andere Impressionismus - für mich der komplementäre Impressionismus, da die Ölgemälde sehr bekannt sind, aber nicht die her tolle zusammengestellte Austellung von Radierungen, Lithographien, originale Teproduktionen..von Corot, Rembrandt, Manet, Pissaro, Renoir ...sowie Maler aus USA, England und Deutschland inkl. Liebermann, die aber auch super Zeichner waren. 2 Visit - (un)seen stories. Eine ungewöhnliche Ausstellung, wo mehr die Herkunft oder die Materie oder die Echtheit oder die Restaurierung (am ende die Geschickte) des Objekt als das Objekt selbst, im Vordergrund steht. Dazu ein paar Verbindungen zu aktuelle Ausstellungen in anderen Museum (Elephantine und Palast der Republik). Habe leider die Notiz Bücher von Casper David Friedrich verpasst.
