lululemon — Attraction in Berlin

Usually love Lululemon and even coming from Amsterdam for my weekend trip to Berlin still wanted to shop here. But the staff especially one lady had such an attitude towards me which just simply wasn’t okay. Left the store feeling very uncomfortable. Besides when asking for my discount as a trainer at checkout, being told that I can only get it when signing up to their program, which is only possible to join when living either in the US or now also Germany. There has to be an alternative solution for instructors who openly share with their community that they are wearing Lululemon (and have people going to buy things they saw on you) from other countries to also get their discount. Especially as the store in Amsterdam is newer and they apparently have me in the system. If for some reason the staff can’t go around this rule -I understand and it’s something for the brand to organize. But being so unnecessarily rude is just not okay. People like that should not work in...

I visited the Lululemon store on 22.September and unfortunately had a very unpleasant encounter with the male staff member. He was impatient and unfriendly, which really surprised me for a brand like Lululemon where you spend hundreds of euros. In contrast, the female staff were all helpful and polite, but his attitude stood out in a very negative way. Honestly, I’ve received better treatment in a discount supermarket!

When I tried to explain my request in English, he acted as if he couldn’t understand me. Then, when I politely asked if we could switch to German, he answered rudely: “Why should I speak German when we all know English?” That kind of response is simply unacceptable.

Is there no exam for hiring staff? Aren’t they trained not to interrupt customers and walk away like that? I don’t understand how this kind of behavior is tolerated, and I hope the store management takes...

Lululemon‘s wear has so far been my favourite when working out. Especially leggings can be really tricky, but they have made sure that theirs aren’t see through and stay where they are, no rolling up!

This review however is not meant to be dedicated to the quality of the clothes but to the staff of this particular store. The staff at any lululemon‘s store is always incredible helpful in my experience.

However here on the Qdamm everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and open for chat which made me feel straight away like I‘m part of a community. Also big shout out to Franzi who went above and beyond to assist every customer in the changing room today. It was pretty busy as sales are on at the moment but she didn’t let that effect the time she took to help out the customers that...
