Visited AERA as I saw they were part of some show about gluten free bakeries and since I was in Berlin, I decided to stop in to check it out. I was not disappointed the bread. I got the grilled cheese sandwich was on special that day and a cappuccino. The bread was so good as was the cheese they used. Couldn't tell if it was gluten free or not, just good bread. Having said that, I would definitely share this with one other person. The richness of the cheese and size of the sandwich was a bit much for one person IMHO but I was able to finish. Just a fabulous place and they had a variety of other GF treats available but I was full from the sandwich. Read moreFINALLY! Good gluten-free bread in Berlin. No, not just good, PHENOMENAL. As a celiac who is also very much a foodie - and bakes her own sourdough as well - I don't even bother with bread from anywhere else in this city because it's just not worth eating. Read moreWonderful place. Best service ever, best tasty Gluten free bread. Interiors are nicely sophisticated. Banana bread also Canelé were incredibly delicious. Personally I make gluten free bread for my family because of celiac disease my family have, and actually It costs more than 5 EUR (and also less than 1 kg) by ingredients only. and not as tasty as AERA's bread for sure. Also even if you compare with the other gluten free bread shop in town, it is not expensive. I would say it is very fair price. Overall, it is super nice place when you are around Ku'dam. We will definitely come back for the other cakes.
