Poccino Espresso — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

The Poccino Espresso is situated at the Arc of Königsallee ( locals call it Kö Bogen ) in the new Breuninger Mall -on the ground floor (brit. engl.) just across the Poccino Bar/Resto. It was crowded as we first came in at 3 PM and less crowded as we were back there again around 5 PM. The venue is tiny, pls skip the seats along the aisle.

You could not only enjoy their coffees ( Cappu for n L. Macchiatto for ) but you could also order some soft drinks ( starting with St. Pelligrino ) but also cookies, cakes n sandwiched which look nice but you wouldnt miss anything if you skipped them.

The coffee itself was great. No doubt about it. But as I have been longing for a perfect cappuccino' pattern ( what do you call it in english? ) I wasnt really overally happy with what I got. Furthermore I stil believe that this place is a bit overpriced - mind...

Absolutely worthless. Waiter has no time for anything.

Food was salty and the dish served with meat which was only in Italian on the card. Very fatty and not really tasty. We had to pay for it anyway.

The waiters are the worst including the head waiter. He brought us the bill and brought a broken card machine. When trying to pay and it didn’t work he started yelling that they don’t accept American Express. We tried visa only! When he changed the machine we payed without issues. No apology or anything!

No wonder people hate Düsseldorf.

After few visit to Poccini, it will be my last time visiting this place. Food are okay nothing special, but the Manager of this restaurant should be changed for sure. Last weekend we have ordered an aperol which was tasting nothing but water with mint. Never had such a bad aperol. We asked to change it into wine but manager said that he cannot change it and it will be charged. No apologies, no explanation, no personal contact. He couldnt even come to our table and passed the message through our waitress. We’d have never expected such a bad attitude from the manager at the place...
