An interesting thing to see along Neuhauser Straße is the bronze figure of a sitting boar in front of the German Hunting and Fishing Museum (Deutsches Jagd und Fischereimuseum).
This is a copy of the famous sitting boar (Porcellino) in Florence. Like what you find with bronze boar at Mercato Nuovo in Florence, visitors here, as evidenced by the very shiny shout, do seem to give the Sitting Boar a good rub in hopes for good luck.
