Leger Am Dom is one of those rare places that truly delivers on all fronts — location, quality, price, atmosphere, and service. Situated in a beautiful and central part of Munich, just steps from iconic landmarks, this restaurant offers a calm, stylish escape from the busy city streets.
The food is of excellent quality and beautifully presented, with a menu that blends traditional European flavors with a modern twist. Even more impressive is the pricing: for such a prime location, the value for money is outstanding. Whether you’re coming for a light lunch or a relaxed dinner, it’s a great choice.
Service is professional and friendly, creating a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The ambiance is warm and inviting — perfect for a romantic dinner, a casual lunch with friends, or even a solo break while exploring Munich.
The drinks menu is also excellent. From refreshing lemonades and spritz options to a well-curated wine list and digestifs, there’s something for every taste. I especially appreciated the variety of alcohol-free beverages and teas, which shows their attention to different guests’ needs. The Aperol Spritz and their selection of Italian digestifs were a lovely touch to end the meal.
In short, Leger Am Dom is a perfect stop whether you’re a local or just visiting Munich. A calm and elegant place to enjoy high-quality food and drinks before continuing with everything the city has to offer. Definitely a place I’ll return to — and...
Read moreThis wannabe bar doesn't give a damn about the hundreds and hundreds of 1-star reviews on here all complaining about the same: mega rude, arrogant and hostile service, some customers claiming racist and classist too. They'll treat you worse than a dog here. The only reason you would enter is because it's very windy and cold outside and you want to shelter. You think ordering 2 hot drinks cannot go too badly. Wrong. The "manager" or whatever he is will make you feel most unwelcome, they don't want to give you a table, they even tell you how long you can stay (30 minutes) even though you'll still wait 20 to have the already mentioned coffee order retaken because no one ordered it first time around, he only repeated it to his colleagues to shame you about your "only coffee order" but you'll find out after waiting a long time at the table that no one was even making it, while 5 or 6 waited and bar staff are just idle, ignoring people and being mega arrogant, denying tables to people saying it's "lunch time" when it's 3 hours past lunchtime and all those tables are just sitting empty anyway. They don't want to work. They want to make it look like a popular place, like you need to deserve being there... You'll spend a lot of money for even drinks to get dismissed and treated worse than a hunt dog. They are disgusting and I hope they get out of business soon. They don't deserve...

Very nice location. Restaurant looks great. Cosy atmosphere inside.
Sunday last day of Oktoberfest 25. But it’s gusting windy day, feels like 2C according to Apple Weather app. And it’s raining not just drizzling.
Food is generally average. I am a little disappointed with Italian food on offer when it’s so near to Italy. Maybe it’s German preference. A tad too salty especially the spaghetti with chanterelles. Burrata is nothing fantastic, plain in fact.
PS. Asked for bill and now I want to give it ZERO if I can. Ordered burrata without ham, waiter did not repeat order to confirm. I repeated again becos I saw the salad w spicy beef. Food came w ham and I sent it back. Still had the cheek to include it in the bill. Maybe it’s the waiter but they came back with pen amendment and he said he will pay the difference!! Left €4 for him to make...
