I visited Exhale Lounge on May 28th with a few friends. We had high hopes - the place looks amazing. But we were soon appalled at their poor customer service. Additionally their menu is way overpriced for what you get.
Four in our party of 12 waited for over an hour for our meal. The waitress kept promising it was coming, and coming and coming, but nothing. Perhaps it had something to do with the kitchen staff being glued to the football match in the main restaurant. Eventually, after an hour of waiting, no food, I asked to see the manager and - to my disbelief - was stonewalled… I just waited around and absolutely insisted on speaking to the manager. When the manageress eventually graced me with her presence she claimed it was “because they were so busy, and that many customers had to wait”. Actually, there were other customers who arrived after us that got their food before us. She also offered that they had to “kill the fish they had just caught to provide it fresh to customers.” Wha?? Whatever the ‘reason’, I don’t think there is any excuse on earth that can justify waiting over an hour for a simple salad. My wife eventually cancelled her order as dinner time had long passed for her.
Exhale Lounge obviously believe they offer a premium dining experience. Management & it’s waitering & kitchen staff however have much to learn about customer service. It’s not all about the bling, the thumping music, the big TV screens and swanning about in a cocktail dress - they need to learn to manage their priorities and their workflow better. And upon complaint from a large group of customers, they would do well to validate their paying customer’s complaint, own up to their poor service and provide decent compensation to ensure some of their guests’ evening is saved; instead of providing flimsy excuses and paltry 5% discount pre multiple taxes, plus refusing to take off the service fee. Unbelievable. Avoid...
Read moreI don't usually do negative reviews, but I had to do this time. Over the passed few weeks I had visited this place at least one time a week cause I had fews friends that like the atmosphere and live closed by. I don't really care for it, because of the poor service and food not the best. Today, I walk in and sited in a open basic area ready to order my food, after a few minutes the waitress came to me and said this table requires you to buy to bottle because this is what they start doing now on Monday. The please was empty and around 7:45 pm so I said we come here on Monday before and it was not like this, plus the sit is basic and no sign on it. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came and I told him was going on. He was not helpful and rude and loud. So I left and when to Coco Vinilla lounge. At Coco Vinilla we were great and sitted in a better area that did not require on Monday thousands of Cedis. Please check out Coco Vinilla. Exhale lounge has horrible customers service and the people do not...
Read moreIf you come later in the evening They let you in knowing there’s no seats . Then you’re standing there like a chicken with no head while literally everyone is seated staring at you. There is no bar space to wait for a seat either… we finally found a table to share with another random group of people. The waitress gave them a menu took their order and ignored me and my boyfriend. When we finally got her attention she gave us a menu. She came back for our order only to never put it in to the point the other people got their food and drinks done eating and we still had nothing . We got her attention after ignoring us because I told my bf he has to get up to talk to someone. That’s when she came to him and said she forgot to put in our order. Then proceeded to pretend to put in the order only to wait another hour with no bottle and no food .. to the point where the other group of people we sat with was done and ready to leave . So we felt...
