Talking Breads — Restaurant in Athens

Let's start by saying that they are very fast, organized and clean.

Their menu is pretty straightforward and as an Italian myself I'm in love with some of their items. My fav is called Mafia Burger, which has truffle flavor and gorgonzola too.

Unfortunately, this place does not have anymore the best homemade fries and sauces, their only still relevant highlights are the burgers.

I went there once and asked the owner why they got rid of the homemade thick cut fries and he told me that statistics showed that many people preferred the long french fries..this was shocking and could not believe this. But okay hahaha

I informed the owner that they could add sweet potato fries and onion rings too and he looked at me like I was crazy...very UNFRIENDLY...i changed my fav spot for my fries and burgers now...check my profile here to find out which one it is !

Most Germans, especially the southern Germans like I am one, don’t tend to praise things. With this in mind please understand my following comment as the sincere praise as it is intended to be: I couldn’t find anything to complain about. Talking Breads doesn’t only deliver on a solid pun but on some kick-ass burgers and Greek hospitality as you can wish for. The fries were crispy, the bun was soft and fresh, the meat juicy and the staff friendly & helpful. Basically Talking Breads gives you the “craft burger” experience with cold beer, clever names and black gloves, but without the hipsters with man-buns and a 30 min wait. To keep true to my southern German tonality: I’d eat here...

Amazing food at a really good price. I can't say enough about this place - absolutely fantastic. The burgers were fresh and made to order, the sandwiches equally amazing - all with homemade bread! I ended up trying the Oldschool - a lamb sandwich, and it was absolutely wonderful. They also have really interesting deserts, such as the Choco Psycho Burger that finish off a meal well. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the owner who took time to chat with us and gave us amazing service. I could not be happier with the place, and anyone who is in the area should...
