This government-owned store sells genuine sandal products as well as metal and wooden handicrafts. I would always bring international visitors to our office here so there wouldn't be any haggling, cheating, or annoyance. Despite the premium pricing, you receive the real deal. This is conveniently located on MG Road, next to the Brigade road entrance. You have surely missed out if you are in Bangalore and haven't been to Cauvery. This is a museum, not a store, in my opinion. They have a sizable selection of handicrafts, paintings, furniture made of sandle wood, clothing, Chenapatna wooden dolls, and other well-known items. They serve a variety of clients. Please visit Cauvery if you'd want to purchase souvenirs from Bangalore or a piece of home décor. At the intersection of Brigrade and MG Road, the store is conveniently situated and easily accessible from hotels in nearby neighbourhoods as well. This is a reputable handicrafts store in Bangalore's Mg Road. Items manufactured of sandals are offered here; this is a project of the government of Karnataka. I used to frequent this emporium frequently. In Bangalore, there are numerous branches, of which this is one.

I'll also pick up some elegant wooden furnishings for my home here. The Coorg people's excellent tasting honey is accessible here. There are good sandal-based religious statues that are readily available and reasonably priced. There are also sandal-based agarbattis on the market that smell good. Anyone who wishes to purchase items classified as handicrafts should do so here. In 1964, the state government of Karnataka built the Cauvery Emporium. It improves Bangalore's reputation among foreigners. Since ancient times, the Cauvery market has been abundantly endowed with highly esteemed crafts. Sandalwood carving, rosewood inlay, Mysore traditional painting, and embroidery are the main trades.

The Cauvery Emporium, located on the first level, has a vast selection of sarees, scarves, women's ethnic clothing, and wooden toys.

The place to go for decorating a home and giving gifts is Cauvery Emporium. I purchased a single tiny goddess of sandalwood. I always bring agarbati and sandalwood bags, as well as mysore sandal soap, whenever I go there. We can still go there if we choose not to buy. All of the collections are skillfully handled by the staff. The best store ever. In December 2014, I accompanied my relatives on a holiday tour of Karnataka and we went to Cauvery Handicrafts in Bangalore. The emporium offers sizable collections of a wide range of items, many of which are famous Karnataka collections for which they are well known. The collections feature silk products, particularly sarees, scarves, pure sesame wood statues of gods and goddesses, pure sandalwood and other flavourings in scent, room fresheners manufactured from only pure herbal collections, typical Mysore concept handicrafts, etc.

We simply gave in to temptation after seeing all these collections and ended up buying about nine items, including a silk saree and scarf, a jasmine-flavored perfume, two statues of God made entirely of sandalwood, some handicrafts, and a bracelet with intricate carvings. Compared to the imitation goods you can get right outside the emporium, the pricing were somewhat exorbitant, but the goods were genuine.

The emporium is quite large, has a nice interior, and a well-run staff. Don't forget to go around this emporium if you want to purchase any authentic and traditional Karnataka...

I recently visited Cavery Handicraft Emporium on MG Road in Bangalore to purchase authentic sandalwood for my puja, based on recommendations from family and friends. Despite my initial expectations of finding a variety of sandalwood products in this bustling location, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive offerings.

The first section featured genuine sandalwood products like powder, incense sticks, and perfumes, emitting a delightful fragrance throughout. Moving on, I discovered an array of pure brass and copper items, including plates adorned with Indian symbols of gods, elephants, and peacocks, as well as smaller idols of various deities. The highlight, of course, was the collection of authentic sandalwood pieces, ranging from a few grams to kilograms, with even red sandalwoods available. These were skillfully crafted into showpieces and gift items.

The store also showcased a diverse range of other items, perfect as home showpieces, with prices ranging from thousands to lakhs. The billing process was remarkably seamless – select a product, receive an invoice, pay at the counter, and collect your purchase from the nearby delivery counter, all packaged meticulously with utmost care.

The staff exhibited genuine interest in assisting customers, providing detailed explanations and patiently waiting for decisions. Overall, I appreciate the state government's commendable initiative to promote these traditional products, preserving our culture, skills, and livelihoods. Such efforts ensure the continued availability of these products in significant quantities, preventing the loss of valuable skills as newer generations explore alternative...

Cauvery emporium was established in 1980s. If you take purple line metro, you will find Cauvery Emporium metro station, where you can get down and from there it is hardly 2mins walk. It is very near to Cubbon park, Vidhan Sauda and its just next to brigade road. So people visiting cauvery emporium can also visit these places. You will easily find autos or also buses. Cauvery Emporium has handcrafts, such as sandal items, wood items, show pieces made out of wood. The incense sticks and dhoops are very nice and worthy. They also have some clothing items such as kurtas, shawls, table covers, mostly made of silk or cotton. They have started keeping leather bags and purses as well for ladies and gents both. You can see decorative items alot in the store for your home. They keep sandal necklaces and other items which are used to worship God. The prices are a little expensive Just outside the store is a shop with keyring s, small toys for kids like whistles, spoons and kitchen sets etc. You can check this out as well. Compared to Cauvery emporium, it is little bit cheaper.

This place is one of the authentic and authorised outlets from Karnataka for the states handicrafts, sandalwood, rosewood, Bidri arts and many more such unique and aesthetic items around Bangalore, Karnataka. This place is located in MG Road Bangalore which is located in the main road and easily located also accessible through BMTC buses, metro and all other ways. If you are coming by your own vehicles it is quite difficult to find parking as they don't have dedicated parking space for your vehicles. Their products are really beautiful which tempt you to empty your pocket. Coming to the service and behaviours from staff, some sound really rude and unresponsive. When I visited there were no staff to take me through their product and I did it all by myself which I thought was really poor customer service. Also for packing the product they make us wait telling that they are having lunch, what I suggest is if there are 2 ladies one could pack and one could have lunch alternatively instead of making the customers wait for so long.
