Had a very very unpleasant stay at this hotel. Staying only for one night. Overall the room was okay, I booked the newly renovated room (Artsy). And the room itself met my expectation, even though there are some details that still needs to be taken care of. For example, they're still using old towels from the previously operated by Crowne Plaza. The AC digital controller also still using Crowne Plaza logo, clearly they haven't updated it yet. Also the small details around the hotel area still outdated (still using Crowne Plaza signages board), they also did not provide in-house laundry service (I was being told upon my arrival, that they need to deliver the laundry to external laundry service outside the hotel in the morning and then they will return it to the guest in the evening around 6PM). 5-star service, huh?

The worst part: In the morning, I was asking (through operator call) if I'd be able to check-out later that afternoon (around 1PM), and been told I could only leave the hotel by 12PM as per in-house rules. I had no problem obeying the rules, but the operator who was answering my call was very very rude. No manner at all while responding to guest' inquiry. While I was preparing for my check-out, I got a call from the operator (He) about 10 minutes after my first call, telling me that I need to leave my room 12PM sharp, no later than that. But the way he speaks to me is very unacceptable, very rude, as if I won't obey the rule and I was some random people staying in the hotel for free. I paid over a million rupiah only to be treated this way! Unfortunately, I didn't ask the name of the operator. Whoever that was, is this how you treat your guest? Is this how the so called "5-star hotel" receptionist and operator behave towards their guests? This hotel only deserves to be called 3-star hotel rather than 5-star. I've been staying in multiple Artotel properties, and this is obviously the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in. Definitely would not recommend it at all. And definitely would not return, period.

The hotel management needs to learn from other giant hotel-chain like Marriott Group or Accor Group on serving and treating their guest. Please save your money and find a real "5-star...

Previously Crowne Hotel and now renaming as Artotel. Definitely an old building with some renovation at some floors that they over different rate between the new furnish and the old one. For me the classic room was terrible, only TV that might be upgrade/new while the rest was old stuff. The bed is very uncomfortable because the springs are worn out and if you sleep it becomes uneven. With the price given you can find new great hotel with the good quality and best location in Jakarta rather than stay in this old building.

the toilet is clogged and the water flush doesn't run smoothly making it very uncomfortable. trust me you will take A LOT OF TIME TO FLUSH YOUR SHITT! not to mention the drains that aren't designed properly resulting in puddles if the water spills or hits the bathroom floor.

air conditioning (AC) is another very bad problem. It wasn't cold and when they called the engineering staff they still didn't get a solution because they didn't follow up with the receptionist and didn't update their work progress.

The Reception??? OH MY GOD i call for several time around 11.00pm to asking about my air conditioning in my room not SOLVED. so i sleep with warm room and not comfortable.

i might be only 1 night but, i always try one night first and later come back again if the hotel is a nice to stay.

Restaurant area (BERANDA) yea... another crowded place on breakfast time without any hospitality, not assisting by the staff and we just find the table that exist and just run thru anything without assistance. The variety of the foods is a lot but PLAIN, definitely tasteless.

maybe if you on budget you can try and accept the situation, but for me as a staycation person who love to enjoy hotel to hotel for a nice stay. a very not recommended. Maybe different story with other, but yea .... i better choose another hotel with the same price but a QUALITY and WELL DESERVE brand and hospitality

oh last thing - the elevator too slow and we need to wait 10 minutes for every time wanna go up or down. Maybe to big as this is an old building with an old...

i really had a bad experience with the services that you guys gave on the first day we came for check in. We experienced an unfortunate thing on the first day where we came to check in at the hotel where at that time we asked about early check-in which we had confirmed that it would be possible on the day we arrived at the hotel we had asked about it and then we also waited for a long time and then finally I asked the receptionist that we could go directly to the room it turned out that if we paid IDR450,000 we agreed with it because they said that the room would be upgraded coincidentally I booked a room with a business king suite type. And we of course immediately agreed with that because one of your receptionists said that later in the room it would be a twin bed but apparently after we got to the room we got a regular room in which there were only twin beds which in my opinion was not an upgrade but a downgrade. Of course I immediately reported to the receptionist regarding this because I wanted the room I booked at the beginning and they said that the room I was in was their latest new rooms where I stated that I did not want a their latest new room I want what I booked at the beginning. long short story, i got the room that i booked at the first place and on the last day I wanted to check out of the hotel I asked them to refund the money. so what I want to say here is maybe the receptionist can communicate better back to his customers well. because in my opinion serving well is important and certainly makes us as customers happy. Check-in and check out went efficiently, the service was quite friendly and attentive. Reservation from traveloka were well received. Room according to request: high floor, non smoking, twin beds. The rooms are quite spacious with good lighting and outside scenery. But the mattress is a bit tilted, maybe because there's too much sitting in that section. All facilities are running well. Spacious bathroom with bath tub (I really much prefer shower, but this option doesn't exist). There is an electric kettle, 2 bottles of mineral water. Tea, coffee, sugar, also diet sugar. The pool is lovely and not too windy even though it's on the 3rd floor and open air. Breakfast is pleasant, the food is standard for a five-star hotel. The taste is not bad. Friendly service. My mother left traditional outfit which was quite expensive, after calling the hotel, a short while later I was contacted via WA. The next day the outfit was taken by our driver, smoothly. Alhamdulillah Next to the hotel there is a mall which used to be quite famous. But now 90% of the shops are closed. But there is a quite big supermarket with complete products and fresh fruits. There is also the famous fast food restaurant AW, the delicious halal Chinese restaurant SOLARIA. The hotel is located on a large and congested main road. If you want to go sightseeing, there are always Blue Bird taxis stand-by, and their service is good, safe and reliable, eventhough the driver can not speak English.

Saya menginap utk ulang tahun pernikahan dgn memesan Artsy King dgn dekorasi. Kami memilih hotel ini sbg tempat utk merayakan hal berharga ini, namun sayang berakhir dgn kurang baik. 1. Kami pesan Artsy King, namun entah kenapa malah ditempatkan di premium/classic. Sangat jelas ini bukan artsy king karena kamar mandinya yg full keramik lama tanpa kaca transparan. Padahal harganya lebih murah dari artsy, yg buat saya sudah enggan utk complain (mengira salah dikasih kamar) adalah adanya dekorasi ucapan selamat atas anniv di kamar itu. Tandanya, itu emang kamar yg dipersiapkan utk kami 2. Mengalah dengan kamar karena sudah lelah, kami harus dibuat bersabar lagi dgn wcnya. Air bathub tidak bisa tertampung karena drainnya bocor shga air keluar terus. Lantai juga becek karena pembuangan berada jauh dibawah lemari dan kemiringan kurang. Selain itu yg juga parah : KAMAR SAMA SEKALI TIDAK KEDAP. Saya bisa mendengar orang lewat, percakapan kamar sebelah di depan pintu, bahkan gelak tawa anak anak di dekat lift. Anak kami yg bayi sampai kaget2 dan bangun dr tidur karena suara pintu kamar sebelah trbuka atau tertutup. 3. Saya membawa bayi utk belajar berenang. Jadi kami total bertiga. Namun pihak kolam hanya mengizinkan kami bawa 2 handuk. Saya mengalah tidak pakai handuk. Saat kami mau pinjam handuk utk dibawa keatas karena anak kedinginan, dilarang, namun dgn alasan yg cukup aneh "nanti kalo dibawa keatas, dibawa pulang" seolah2 kami minta utk mencuri. Padahal karena anak kami butuh + istri saya pakai hijab dan karena basah pakaiannya jadi ngepress dan dicover dgn handuk 4. Layanan pembersihan kamar tidak dilakukan. Kami sudah kontak operator 0, dan dgn lampu indikator di depan kamar. Keduanya diabaikan hingga kami pulang. 5. Variasi makanan untuk weekend cukup banyak. Namun sayang, amburadul. Beberapa yg sempat saya coba dan kekurangannya : Pizza : keras, dingin Beef beacon ; hangus, super dry Sushi ; 🤢 istri saya sampai muntahin octopusnya. Sudah berbau tapi masih didisplay Opor ayam : terlalu banyak air Ikan garlic butter : amis dan berlendir Makanan india : super asin (saya pecinta indian food dan saya bisa bilang ketimbang seluruh makanan india yg sudah saya coba, itu over asinnya) Mie goreng : kering keras Nasi masih keras dan sebagian ga matang. Tidak ada 1 pun yg bikin berselera dan nambah. Bahkan saya gabisa nelan beberapa menu yg sudah saya ambil 6. Layanan bfast yg bikin tepok jidat. Istri saya gendong anak dan ingin laksa. Namun alih2 menawarkan utk diantar ke meja karena melihat istri saya sudah kerepotan gendong anak, istri saya justru disuruh menunggu mereka memasak dan mangkuk panas disodorkan utk istri saya bawa sendiri. Bisa bayangkan gimana cara bawa anak 8 bulan dan semangkuk laksa panas secara bersamaan? Akhirnya istri panggil saya buat dibawakan ke meja kami, di hadapan para staff lainnya. Saya ga nyangka hal hal seperti ini bisa terjadi di 5 star. Padahal, hotel 4 star yg pernah kami datangi beberapa waktu sblmnya sampai2 menawarkan utk diantar makanannya padahal istri saat itu hanya dalam kondisi hamil. Saya ga tau kenapa, tapi memang rasanya semua staff pelayanan breakfastnya kurang inisiatif. Beberapa bahkan bermain hape dan chatting saat sedang membuat makanan (saya gaakan mention section mana, namun ini ada. Dan karena itu pekerjaannya jadi lama, dan menjawab pertanyaan tamu dgn apa adanya karena fokusnya pecah antara hape dan pekerjaan). Disamping keluhan, tentu ada hal yg bisa kami puji 1. Front desk hotel ini brilian. Cepat, ramah, dan helpfull 2. Semua request saya di note seperti dekorasi ucapan, slice cake, dan ranjang bayi dipenuhi. Sayang kamar kami didowngrade, ini masih membekas buat saya karena dapat kamar yg lebih murah tanpa informasi dan pengembalian selisih. 3. Pancakesnya enak, satu satunya menu yg kami ambil 2x Sayang sekali setelah sekian banyak kerugian yg kami alami, kami berpikir2 lagi utk menginap disini saat momen momen berharga kami lainnya..masih banyak hotel bintang 5 bahkan 4 yg punya rate mirip namun pelayanannya profesional. OH MY GOD i call for several time around 11.00pm to asking about my air conditioning in my room not SOLVED. so i sleep with warm room and not comfortable. i might be only 1 night but, i always try one night first and later come back again if the hotel is a nice to stay. Restaurant area (BERANDA) yea... another crowded place on breakfast time without any hospitality, not assisting by the staff and we just find the table that exist and just run thru anything without assistance. The variety of the foods is a lot but PLAIN, definitely tasteless. maybe if you on budget you can try and accept the situation, but for me as a staycation person who love to enjoy hotel to hotel for a nice stay. a very not recommended. Maybe different story with other, but yea .... i better choose another hotel with the same price but a QUALITY and WELL DESERVE brand and hospitality oh last thing - the elevator too slow and we need to wait 10 minutes for every time wanna go up or down. Maybe to big as this is an old building with an old facilities and system.

Check-in and check out went efficiently, the service was quite friendly and attentive. Reservation from traveloka were well received. Room according to request: high floor, non smoking, twin beds. The rooms are quite spacious with good lighting and outside scenery. But the mattress is a bit tilted, maybe because there's too much sitting in that section. All facilities are running well. Spacious bathroom with bath tub (I really much prefer shower, but this option doesn't exist). There is an electric kettle, 2 bottles of mineral water. Tea, coffee, sugar, also diet sugar. The pool is lovely and not too windy even though it's on the 3rd floor and open air. Breakfast is pleasant, the food is standard for a five-star hotel. The taste is not bad. Friendly service. My mother left traditional outfit which was quite expensive, after calling the hotel, a short while later I was contacted via WA. The next day the outfit was taken by our driver, smoothly. Alhamdulillah Next to the hotel there is a mall which used to be quite famous. But now 90% of the shops are closed. But there is a quite big supermarket with complete products and fresh fruits. There is also the famous fast food restaurant AW, the delicious halal Chinese restaurant SOLARIA. The hotel is located on a large and congested main road. If you want to go sightseeing, there are always Blue Bird taxis stand-by, and their service is good, safe and reliable, eventhough the driver can not speak English.

Saya menginap utk ulang tahun pernikahan dgn memesan Artsy King dgn dekorasi. Kami memilih hotel ini sbg tempat utk merayakan hal berharga ini, namun sayang berakhir dgn kurang baik. 1. Kami pesan Artsy King, namun entah kenapa malah ditempatkan di premium/classic. Sangat jelas ini bukan artsy king karena kamar mandinya yg full keramik lama tanpa kaca transparan. Padahal harganya lebih murah dari artsy, yg buat saya sudah enggan utk complain (mengira salah dikasih kamar) adalah adanya dekorasi ucapan selamat atas anniv di kamar itu. Tandanya, itu emang kamar yg dipersiapkan utk kami 2. Mengalah dengan kamar karena sudah lelah, kami harus dibuat bersabar lagi dgn wcnya. Air bathub tidak bisa tertampung karena drainnya bocor shga air keluar terus. Lantai juga becek karena pembuangan berada jauh dibawah lemari dan kemiringan kurang. Selain itu yg juga parah : KAMAR SAMA SEKALI TIDAK KEDAP. Saya bisa mendengar orang lewat, percakapan kamar sebelah di depan pintu, bahkan gelak tawa anak anak di dekat lift. Anak kami yg bayi sampai kaget2 dan bangun dr tidur karena suara pintu kamar sebelah trbuka atau tertutup. 3. Saya membawa bayi utk belajar berenang. Jadi kami total bertiga. Namun pihak kolam hanya mengizinkan kami bawa 2 handuk. Saya mengalah tidak pakai handuk. Saat kami mau pinjam handuk utk dibawa keatas karena anak kedinginan, dilarang, namun dgn alasan yg cukup aneh "nanti kalo dibawa keatas, dibawa pulang" seolah2 kami minta utk mencuri. Padahal karena anak kami butuh + istri saya pakai hijab dan karena basah pakaiannya jadi ngepress dan dicover dgn handuk 4. Layanan pembersihan kamar tidak dilakukan. Kami sudah kontak operator 0, dan dgn lampu indikator di depan kamar. Keduanya diabaikan hingga kami pulang. 5. Variasi makanan untuk weekend cukup banyak. Namun sayang, amburadul. Beberapa yg sempat saya coba dan kekurangannya : Pizza : keras, dingin Beef beacon ; hangus, super dry Sushi ; 🤢 istri saya sampai muntahin octopusnya. Sudah berbau tapi masih didisplay Opor ayam : terlalu banyak air Ikan garlic butter : amis dan berlendir Makanan india : super asin (saya pecinta indian food dan saya bisa bilang ketimbang seluruh makanan india yg sudah saya coba, itu over asinnya) Mie goreng : kering keras Nasi masih keras dan sebagian ga matang. Tidak ada 1 pun yg bikin berselera dan nambah. Bahkan saya gabisa nelan beberapa menu yg sudah saya ambil 6. Layanan bfast yg bikin tepok jidat. Istri saya gendong anak dan ingin laksa. Namun alih2 menawarkan utk diantar ke meja karena melihat istri saya sudah kerepotan gendong anak, istri saya justru disuruh menunggu mereka memasak dan mangkuk panas disodorkan utk istri saya bawa sendiri. Bisa bayangkan gimana cara bawa anak 8 bulan dan semangkuk laksa panas secara bersamaan? Akhirnya istri panggil saya buat dibawakan ke meja kami, di hadapan para staff lainnya. Saya ga nyangka hal hal seperti ini bisa terjadi di 5 star. Padahal, hotel 4 star yg pernah kami datangi beberapa waktu sblmnya sampai2 menawarkan utk diantar makanannya padahal istri saat itu hanya dalam kondisi hamil. Saya ga tau kenapa, tapi memang rasanya semua staff pelayanan breakfastnya kurang inisiatif. Beberapa bahkan bermain hape dan chatting saat sedang membuat makanan (saya gaakan mention section mana, namun ini ada. Dan karena itu pekerjaannya jadi lama, dan menjawab pertanyaan tamu dgn apa adanya karena fokusnya pecah antara hape dan pekerjaan). Disamping keluhan, tentu ada hal yg bisa kami puji 1. Front desk hotel ini brilian. Cepat, ramah, dan helpfull 2. Semua request saya di note seperti dekorasi ucapan, slice cake, dan ranjang bayi dipenuhi. Sayang kamar kami didowngrade, ini masih membekas buat saya karena dapat kamar yg lebih murah tanpa informasi dan pengembalian selisih. 3. Pancakesnya enak, satu satunya menu yg kami ambil 2x Sayang sekali setelah sekian banyak kerugian yg kami alami, kami berpikir2 lagi utk menginap disini saat momen momen berharga kami lainnya..masih banyak hotel bintang 5 bahkan 4 yg punya rate mirip namun pelayanannya profesional.
