Overall poor experience: room was noisy due to aircon and minibar, soundproofing is bad, poor cleanliness, room is too bright, and customer service was very very poor. 1. Noisy: noise from mini fridge cannot be stopped unless you switch off the fridge, but it also means you cannot use it to put food or drinks to keep cold. Poor sound proofing and often awaken by guests from other rooms and guest at the corridor either talking or dragging luggage. Aircon is old and noisy, drips water too 2. Poor Cleanliness: many cockroaches found in the lower basement room, and experienced by other guests too which other guests commented as they walked past me. Also sheets found with various red and brown and yellow stains, and torn holes in pillow cases. 3. When I asked for compensation for being given a room with many cockroaches which it also crawled into my luggage (and yes I freaked out and screamed), I was told by two different staff that the best they can do is to arrange a transport to the airport or another hotel location. When I insisted for a monetary compensation, they said they can do if I shorten my stay and check out ‘now’ which they will refund the remaining nights (but not the stayed night with the cockroaches found in the room). I was told repeated times to check out to get the ‘refund’ even after I told them my option is not to check out now. Poor service recovery and service attitude. Thanks to Trip.com that helped me fight for at least a one night compensation in fee. 4. The rooms on ground floor does not have full length curtains. Room is very bright once the day breaks and is not ideal for a light sleeper like me.

Excellent location, perfect price. We were looking for a Kuta hotel that would fulfill 4 requirements for us: right on the beach, easy transfer to airport, safe, and inexpensive. The Kutabex Beach Front Hotel met our expectations that way. Our check-in was friendly and inviting, and we had our key in less than 5 minutes. We received a welcome beverage, and then were escorted to our room by a lovely staff person who was very kind and informative. This hotel is older, so these are definitely no-nonsense accommodations (nothing fancy; roaches and centipedes in the bathroom, dirty walls), but the facilities and bedding were clean which was most important. We are not surfers, but this would be the ideal place to leave all your stuff while you catch the waves. Best things about this hotel: a restaurant/bar comprises the front entrance, live music at night, instant beach access, authentic Balinese food vendors supplying endless treats for every taste, eager taxi drivers every 20m, unbelievable shopping, gorgeous sunsets, pounding waves, friendly atmosphere, surfing gods, true Kuta flavor, all just out of the front door.

Good budget hotel, right across from Kuta Beach. Biggest hassle was there were no windows in the hotel room so it was very hard to make out what time of the day it was. They offered welcome drinks on arrival (included different fruit juices), free WiFi (didn’t work inside the rooms, only worked well in the lobby and kept getting disconnected), complimentary buffet style breakfast (not a lot of vegetarian options and menu remained almost the same for the 3 days we were there), complimentary 20% off their massage and spa (Kuta Kita) which was a relative good bargain. They had viewing of the FIFA World Cup in the restaurant and bar which was a good add-on. The hotel is at a very nice location. Would consider staying in the other nearby hotels if the price wasn’t as different. Good view of the beach from the rooftop bar on the 4th floor.

Got the basement room and tbh I've got no issues regarding the others. The room that I stayed is clean enough even though in some parts it is dirty and dusty but overall it's okay. The air conditioner is not too cool but not too hot. The breakfast is well enough and you can eat on the rooftop with a view of the pool and Kuta beach. Yes, the parking space is very limited, and if you get the basement is also too tight for the car lane, it is hard for big cars to enter the basement. Maybe suggest that the management should maintain all of the rooms to make sure the guests stay comfortably.

Kekurangan room-nya cuma posisi room yg setara jalan, di lantai LG. Jadi ga ada pemandangan luar yg bisa dilihat. Tapi enaknya jadi ga bising padahal di luar rame banget Kalau ukuran lumayan besar, gampang naruh barang dan sholat. Tapi masakan buat breakfast-nya juara. Nginep tiga hari, masakannya beda terus meskipun nggak banyak pilihan makanan berat. Tapi appetizer-nya banyak banget. Lokasi super strategis pas ngadep pantai kuta. Mau ke pantai tinggal nyebrang. Ke beachwalk tinggal jalan dikit.

Pelayanan hotel cepat dan ramah. Kamarnya pun nyaman dan bersih. Untuk sarapan istimewa,banyak pilihannya. Lokasi mantap banget dekat pantai Kuta. Kolam renangnya ada di rooftop bersamaan dengan restorannya. Ada pub didepan hotel,ini yang bikin sensasi beda dihotel ini.
