Forse è la porta più attraversata dai visitatori di Cortona, vista la posizione adiacente ad uno dei parcheggi più utilizzati. Non è quella più ricca di storia, ma anche in passato doveva avere una sua importante valenza "funzionale", vista la presenza di due "fontanoni" (dentro le mura, a sinistra appena entrati, e fuori dalle mura, all'imbocco della via verso la Chiesa di Santa Maria Nuova, della quale, da qui si può godere di una interessante...
