The cave environment is absolutely brutal to wood or metal based objects. Just try to maintain your shape as a piece of arboreal wonder in the face of unrelenting humidity. How does a fine forgery resist the corrosion of its base elements as they flirt with the big O2. And all the while, those smug stone sculptures are looking like they just came home. It was very surprising that none of the texts in the museum is in another language then Italian. The museum claims to be an important sculpture museum, translation should be available. There is only an A4 available in English.
