Unfriendly, racist and rude staff. I've been a fan of venchi gelato every time I've visited Italy. I love their gelato but this place, gave an uneasy feeling. I have either racially profiled or staff had some prejudice against my appearance. When i tried to ask about the flavours. At first i was ignored and then i was told that I needed to pay first before anything. Like, why the hell would i buy something if I don't know about the product? I had such a heart warming experience, of course the Gelato is amazing but the service is very kind and professional, after I was refused to try ice cream from neighbouring shops across the street and was treated rudely, I went to Venchi and asked the lady if I may try ice cream before I buy bcuz I was refused by other shops, she was so kind and made me try and make my own mix I bought chocolate as well and was given a gift to make me smile as it was my last day in Italy and just wanted ice cream 🤍 thank you Venchi and for your...

Il nome del locale dovrebbe essere una garanzia ma onestamente il mio giudizio generale è molto al di sotto delle aspettative. Partiamo dalla scelta dei gusti, la varietà è nella media, secondo me avere troppa scelta non è un reale valore aggiunto, peccato che alcuni gusti mancavano. I gusti erano o troppo molli (es variegato al limone era praticamente liquido) o troppo consistenti (fondente 75% era una tavoletta di cioccolato). Mettere insieme 2/3 gusti di questa consistenza è impossibile, il risultato è che crolla tutto se non ti sbrighi a mangiare e così ti perdi il gusto stesso del cono da passeggio… Abbiamo preso 2 coni per un totale di 5 gusti e, oltre ad essere molto costosi (ma ero disposto a pagare per avere qualità), i gusti era poco distinguibili (tranne il limone che era forte e si differenziava ma NON aveva la marmellata aggiunta come invece indicato in foto è nella descrizione ben esposta sia all’eterno che all’intento del locale). Provato limone, fondente, cappuccino, caramello al burro salato e pistacchio. Onestamente ho trovato di molto meglio a molto meno! Poi la chicca finale, il cioccolatino al latte o fondente che mettono sopra. Dovrebbe essere il loro segno distintivo e invece era assolutamente neutro, pochissimo gusto. Adoro il fondente ed ho assaggiato cioccolatini “senza marche rinomate come questa” che al confronto erano spettacolari. Per non parlare della fila di 30 minuti fatta per avere il gelato.
