Hello,

I would like to bring to your attention a situation that occurred on July 8th at 3:00 PM at the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo, involving a staff member named Giovanni (a tall bald man).

I came down from the cafeteria and, while looking for the restroom, I accidentally stepped into the museum area, as there was no one at the entrance or at the ticket counter and I was unaware that entry was ticketed.

The man began shouting at me and ordering me to leave, even though I remained calm and left immediately when he asked.

Afterwards, I went to browse the museum shop and saw a door marked “exit.” I walked through it, and just a couple of meters outside, the same man—who introduced himself as Giovanni—approached me again, shouting as if I had stolen something, broken something, or behaved inappropriately.

I left the building, but feeling deeply upset by the incident, I returned to ask for the contact information of his manager so I could report his behavior.

In response, he began shouting at me even more aggressively, which was witnessed by other visitors and a staff member sitting nearby. He refused to provide any contact information, and the woman at the desk said he was her manager and she could not give me any contacts either.

I kindly ask you to look into this matter, as this man’s behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, and not acceptable for someone in his position.

I felt offended and absolutely insecure.

It’s the first time I see this...
