We had the most incredible experience with Positanese Tour and Captain Gabriele. From start to finish, everything was flawless. Gabriele is not only an exceptional captain but also one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable people we met during our trip. His passion for Positano and the Amalfi Coast truly shines—he shared so many fascinating stories and bits of local history that made the journey even more special.

The boat itself was impeccable—spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It felt luxurious yet welcoming, and we could immediately see the pride Gabriele takes in keeping everything perfect for his guests. We loved his attention to details, the lovely snacks and drinks, and the way we felt he curated our trip.

We explored hidden coves, swam in the most stunning turquoise waters, and enjoyed breathtaking views that we’ll never forget. Gabriele’s hospitality made us feel completely at ease, and his love for his hometown gave us such a deeper appreciation of Positano and its history. A highlight was jumping off the boat and swimming to a hidden cove where we hunted for sea glass and sea tiles. INCREDIBLE!

Story time! … On the day of our capri boat tour that we booked many months before, at around 4am, the boat company messaged me that our tour is cancelled because they didn’t reach their preferred number of people. I don’t know how to respond to this but they never told me about the possibility of cancellation and didn’t even bother to reach me until i messaged them and asked where’s the meet up for the day. That’s the only time they informed me about the cancellation. We are beyond disappointed. It was not even our fault. And should not even be our burden to carry.🥺 So we tried looking for other tours and even asked our hotel for recommendations. And viola! Positanese tour saved the day! Though we were too late to book a Capri tour and only had the Amalfi, we had the most unforgettable experience! And? the whole boat just for ourselves (private tour) for a very reasonable price. And it was one of the best decesions we made during the whole trip. One tip to avoid this crazy cancellations when going to Positano for a boat tour? Book them instead. Forget others. This sunset cruise turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon trip. What made it truly special wasn’t just the breathtaking views—it was our amazing Captain Gabrielle, a true Positanese guy who brought the journey to life with stories, smiles, and incredible hospitality.

From the moment we stepped on board, we were made to feel completely welcome. The captain shared fascinating facts and hidden gems along the coastline, pointing out spots we never would have known about otherwise. He was endlessly enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about his hometown, which made the experience feel so personal and authentic.

And let me just say—he’s also a fantastic photographer! He offered to take pictures throughout the cruise and knew all the best angles and lighting to capture the perfect sunset shots.
