As a parishioner of this church I guess I am bias, but I want to give a review of All Saints' anyway. First of all, I want to say that it is a unique church in the Victorian neo-Gothic style, designed by G.E Street in the 1880s - the interior is especially fine - centred on the altar as a Eucharistic symbol and because the church was in the high church tradition, vestments here have always been worn. The windows are by Clayton&Bell and the frontals are very fine Victorian ones that could be easily found in the most charming English parish churches. The church today offers all sorts of services: morning and evening prayer, Sunday high and low Mass, Choral Evensong and even Alternative Worship as it tries to please the whole of the communion spectrum. The central act of worship though is still that sacrifice of the altar. The community is warm and diverse, everyone is welcome. Please visit us, whether it be for worship or for our building you won't be disappointed! Please, ignore the bad reviews on Tripadvisor, they are about the Opera that is hosted by the church, if you want to give bad reviews, review the opera not All Saints'! Looking...
Read moreIf you talk about the church building, its beautiful. But a person goes to church to learn about the word of God the father. But unfortunately this church has mostly preached about that we have to do this and do that. Which is entirely opposite to what the gospel and christ preached. Christ came to save us and to give us a new life, he gave his life for us to save us from death, condemnation and sin. Now we don't have to do anything for our salvation, because he already has done everything for us. All we have to do is to believe in his word, be baptised in the name of the father, son and holy spirit and share the good news that we have received with others. This is the message of the gospel, which I barely heard in all saints church. I pray that God guide the pastor of this church in his word and knowledge, and help this church to grow according to the word, not...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of attending an opera concert at All Saints' Anglican Church in Rome, and it was truly a beautiful experience. The church's architecture and acoustics were perfect for the concert, creating a stunning setting for the music. The performers were top-notch, and their voices filled the church with powerful and moving performances. The repertoire of the opera was well-chosen, featuring a mix of classic and contemporary pieces that kept the audience engaged throughout the concert. The atmosphere was intimate, making it an ideal setting for the opera. It was a perfect night, with the music, the setting and the atmosphere all coming together to create a truly unforgettable experience. If you're an opera lover, I highly recommend checking out any upcoming performances at All Saints' Anglican...
