INCREDIBLE SELECTION! The incredible thing about Murano Max is both the selection and the staff! You can truly find something for every taste and every budget. The fact that this store contains items from so many different Murano artists and houses gives you to opportunity to choose from the great variety that exists.
I've been to Murano, years ago, and didn't see this much variety!
If you're looking for Murano glass, you really must make time to stop here. It's a HUGE shop and you will be well taken care of. NO sales pressure, just the desire for the staff to make a human connection and help you to find something that you'll truly enjoy.
I've already decided what I want to buy from there on my next trip to Rome.
Thank you, Murano Max staff, for spending time with me and showing me so many beautiful things. I'm thrilled with my purchases, and of course, now wish I'd bought more while I was...
Read moreIt is like a dream in the core of a dream. Roma is a dream, isn't it? The street itself, Via dei Banchi, is a dream. Narrow, and secret, and full of life in the evening. Well, the shop is the dream inside a dream, inside a dream. Colors, and lights, and transparency, shapes and jingles... Take a look - nobody will rush you. From the tiny objects for a few €, earrings and rings, to the majestic vases, and bowls, and lamps - everyone will find something according to their taste and size of the pocket. Magic gifts for the loved ones. (And absolutely safely wrapped too!) You should definitely see the Christmas collection! Who knows where will you be on Christmas? Why not buy some holyday fantasies in advance? Nice staff - be nice you too! If you feel the impulse to talk, to ask about their life story, feel free to do it! They are very friendly, and open, and willing to have a...
Read moreVery wide selection and high-quality art. I wanted a piece from the Murano/Venice region rather than a knockoff, and this was the place. They have every option available that you could think of.
The problem was, they made the shopping experience uncomfortable. They asked what specific item I wanted, and since the selection was so wide, I didn’t know exactly and wanted to browse. They seemed annoyed at this and pushed for an answer. Then, followed me around while I browsed which made me feel rushed, uncomfortable, and not wanted in the store.
They have fantastic pieces, and I will cherish the piece I picked up. But I will be sad thinking back to the actual shopping experience. I would recommend a visit to someone, just be prepared to know what item you might want going into it by browsing and previewing the photos on other...
