This was the highlight of my 12 day trip to Kyushu!
Was really curious and wanted the family to experience something different on our travels. Not disappointed at all. This place is 'happening' for such a small town. The food, as many have shared is just small bites but alcohol is free-flow. The staff serving are very attentive and helpful. The guy with the funky hairdo looks really cool. The other guy with the pony-tail is also quite good-looking. A young lady (student) even spoke to me in English saying if there was anything we needed help with, she is more than happy to help.
When the band came up with their first set, we got to see why this place is popular with the locals. Almost EVERYONE got up to the dance floor.
The best description i can think of - An introverts club. Everyone was facing forward to the stage. There were some small interactions here and there but by-and-large, all were focussed on the singers and learning or mimicking their moves.
Being an introvert myself, i took a little more alcohol than i could handle, which led me to getting up on the 3rd set, to discover what this 53yr-old body could gyrate to. Too happily giddy to care what i looked like.
One of the happiest days on my life.

Read moreAmazing experience, we paid ¥3600 for me and ¥3000 for my wife, for that you get all you can eat from their buffet and all you can drink standard drinks! Then there's the entertainment too, I think they had around 5 sets of classic rock and roll performed by the very talented band, they also do requests! The atmosphere was cool too, with all the performers and some of the staff dressed to the nines and the guys had their hair up in quiff. Even some of the fans/customers made the effort to dress up for it too. It really felt like you'd travelled back in time! At the end of the night the band will pose for photos with the customers. All in all a wonderful evening and worh every cent (yen). It was the second time we'd been there, the first being a seven years ago, I would wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to going back...
Read moreWe've come here multiple times both as a small group and as a group of 40+ and have loved it every time. The band is exquisite in their performance and recreation of an American 1950's(ish) live dinner show. The music selection has depth and is full of all the hits you've heard and know by heart.
While the food is buffet style and the quality in general reflects that, this is more than over shadowed by the relatively cheap entrance fee that gets you in for the whole night. At ¥3,600 for men and ¥3,000 for women, you won't find a better all-you-can-eat-and-drink club with this amount of showmanship anywhere...
