This is one of the greatest attractions of Kamakura. Located very near to the Hase dera temple, this Great Buddha is a must visit. The entry ticket is 300 yen. Its a large statue that is a charm on its own. Many people are also seen to worship there by offering fruits and incense. Don't miss the large size slippers of Buddha hung on the left side (building complex) of the Buddha. For a small fee you may even visit the inside...
